Responsibilities Review, analyze, and approve appraisals for right of way projects, corridor acquisitions, easements, and eminent domain proceedings. Ensure technical compliance with UASFLA, USPAP, and Federal regulations. Provide written appraisal reviews and recommendations to leadership. Serve as a resource and advisor to project managers, attorneys, and acquisition specialists regarding valuation methodology. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior appraisers and acquisition staff. Represent the agency as an expert witness in administrative hearings and court proceedings. Develop and maintain internal guidance, policies, and training related to appraisal and review processes. Qualifications Required Qualifications MAI designation (Appraisal Institute). Bachelor's degree or higher in real estate, finance, economics, business, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare review reports and provide expert testimony. Responsibilities Maintain and document files (set up inspection appointments and document accordingly) Perform physical inspections of damaged vehicles Determine the extent of damage Document repairs needed and review repair shop estimates Determine vehicle value and provide documentation Qualifications Previous experience as an Automotive Appraiser is preferred Excellent written communication and negotiation skills Ability to work with little or no supervision Have an active driver's license and reliable transportation Flexible work from home options available. Compensation: $50.00 - $1,200.00 per week
