The Senior Associate Counsel provides legal support for hospital information technology operations, including comprehensive legal and strategic guidance on the procurement, deployment, and governance of information technology systems (ISD) and artificial intelligence. This position reports to the Vice President, Senior Associate Counsel with a reporting matrix to the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities:
Advise hospital leadership and procurement teams on the legal implications of acquiring new technologies, such as electronic health records (EHR), telemedicine platforms, cybersecurity tools, and medical devices and the implementation of artificial intelligence tools.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad array of information technology contracts-such as software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements, cloud hosting terms, data processing addenda, and business associate agreements. Identify and address legal risks in vendor offerings and technology solutions.
Advise hospital leadership on legal considerations surrounding digital transformation initiatives, innovation adoption, and strategic partnerships with technology providers.
Collaborate with hospital IT and security teams to develop policies and protocols for safeguarding patient data and critical systems. Advise on incident response plans, breach notification procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. Stay abreast of emerging threats and evolving best practices.
Provide legal support for hospital-wide policies on technology use, social media, device management, remote work, mobile access to sensitive information, and enterprise risk for information technology. Ensure policies reflect current legal requirements and operational needs.
Support the hospital in managing disputes or litigation related to technology vendors, data breaches, intellectual property claims, and other technology-related matters. Coordinate with litigation counsel as needed.
Education and Training: Provide ongoing education to staff and leadership on legal implications of technology adoption, emerging regulatory requirements, and evolving risks in the health technology landscape.
Identify and assess legal, operational, and compliance risks in IT contract.

Crum & Forster is seeking a Claims Director & Coverage Counsel in one of the following locations: Morristown, NJ - Jersey City or remote. The Director & Coverage Counsel is responsible for outcomes on specific severe or complex claims within the Sharing Economy/Transportation lines of business.

Handle declaratory judgment actions related to Sharing Economy/Transportation, in which a company entity is named as a party.

What you will bring to C&F:
The ideal candidate should possess 8+ years' experience in a technical claim handling role, specifically in the areas of Sharing Economy/Transportation claims, preferably with a commercial property & casualty company or a self-insured company in those fields.
Legal experience at a law firm handling insurance coverage issues in the areas of Sharing Economy/Transportation matters will also be considered in lieu of claims handling experience.

What you will do
Provide oversight and strategy to effectively maintain library of borrower and other required communication related to mortgage servicing, including pre-foreclosure, loss mitigation, loan modification, lien releases, assignments, and other required notices.
Interpret regulatory and legislative requirements related to mortgage servicing
Understand notarial and recordation requirements for relevant documents.
Ensure change management processes are followed so notices are updated timely.
Produce and deliver client communications, including articles and webinars, regarding changes in regulatory requirements.
Provide advice, guidance, and insight to Senior Management and staff personnel on emerging compliance issues and consults the company in establishment of controls to mitigate risk.
Ensure policies and procedures are followed and reviewed and updated, as appropriate, at least annually.
Perform other projects and special assignments.
What you will bring
Juris Doctorate required
Admission to at least one state bar
3-5 years of legal, regulatory, and compliance legal experience
Strong attention to detail and time management
Self-starter with exceptional problem solving and analytical ability
Ability to collaborate and build relationships
Experience using Lexis and other legal publications
Proficient in MS Office

Overview
The Product Safety and Aviation Regulatory team is responsible for providing legal advice and counsel in support of multiple teams within GE Aerospace responsible for maintaining our excellent record of product safety in the aerospace industry and ensuring aviation regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will advise on the U.S. Federal Aviation Regulations and similar non-U.S. regulations, and will report to the Executive Counsel, Product Safety and Aviation Regulatory. In this role, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in our Technology & Operations Division, including the Product Safety & Quality Team, the Regulatory Strategy team, the Airworthiness & Certification Office, our Accountable Manager for our FAA Production Certificate, and the Chief Engineer's Office. The successful candidate will also support our Commercial Engines & Services team, particularly as it relates to product certification and maintenance requirements. This is a position with a global focus, with concentration on FAA design, production, and maintenance rules, but also supports our global divisions and affiliates who hold design, production, and maintenance authorizations from the European Aviation and Safety Agency and other global regulators. This role is a key member of the GE Aerospace Legal & Compliance team. Relocation offered.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provides legal advice and strategic counsel to business operations to ensure adherence to applicable aviation regulatory requirements, with a focus on U.S. Federal Aviation Regulations and similar U.S. and non-U.S. regulations, as well as internal company policies.
Supports the FAA Production Certificate Accountable Manager and the Technology & Operations organization in regulatory compliance, interpretation, audits, disclosures, investigations, and enforcement matters, and supports compliance with the FAA's drug and alcohol program with respect to findings, disclosures, and enforcement.
Advises on matters regarding the Company's Type Certificates and other design approvals, including requirements to produce, maintain, and make available Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).
Advises Company affiliates holding Repair Station Certificates on maintenance regulations, findings, disclosures, investigations, and enforcement.
Works cross-functionally with holders of non-U.S. production and design authorizations to support compliance with applicable regulations.
Assists Compliance organization in internal investigations raised through the Company's Open Reporting process relating to aviation regulatory compliance.
Advises on aviation bilateral agreements, issues that may arise in the context of acquisitions or divestitures, questions regarding licensing agreements for our manuals and technology, and sanctions impacts.
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited university or college with at least 6 years of experience practicing law.
Experience working with and strong understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA.

TASKS:
1. Responsible for day-to-day operations for assigned group of clients
2. Implement Behavior Modification System
3. Complete all required documentation which includes but not limited to, the tracking of all individualized behavior programs, daily point sheets/totals, outcome tracks, discharge planning, progress notes, treatment plans, quarterlies and all related documentation in compliance with DMAS, Licensure and Accent Group standards
4. Maintain weekly contact with clients primary caregivers, school personnel and other relevant health care professionals. Schedule and attend meeting as required
5. Attend school meetings (i.e. IEP, child studies, etc.) upon approval of Clinical staff or Program Coordinator
6. Attend monthly meetings with Clinical staff and Program Coordinator for supervision and chart audits.
7. Establish working relationships with representatives of other agencies who work with and provide services to individuals.
8. Assist in the referral process for each client
9. Provide transportation for clients using company vehicles as needed
10. Provide transportation and escorting individuals to appointments as needed.
