Summary Objective The Electrical Training Specialist will coordinate with all manufacturing facilities personnel to meet and maintain all their training needs. Responsibilities will include tracking and maintaining training programs and records, developing and lead classroom training, oversee training initiatives in the manufacturing plant and other tasking as required. As a leader, the Electrical Training Specialist will be responsible for ensuring Stellar Energy's highest standards for training, culture and policies are met and adhered to. Essential Functions Assists in the leading of Electrical Department training presentations and practicums. Develop new electrical training presentations as needed for all manufacturing employees and leadership. Assist in facilitating the Skilled Trades training initiatives and ensures quality training is conducted. Trains Manufacturing Management Team on training initiatives, training programs, and other initiatives as directed by the Manufacturing Training Manager. Observes daily operations in the manufacturing facility to determine the need for new training opportunities. Develops and trains employees in operations, safety, and company policies and practices following manuals, specifications, blueprints, and Stellar Energy America standards. Writes training products, including outline, text, handouts, and examinations as needed. Designs exercises and training practicums, applying knowledge of electronics and mechanics, following machine, equipment, and tooling manuals. Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos. Collects data for, creates, and modifies curriculum for diverse types of audiences and learning delivery methods. Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of examination and assessments, and retraining requirements. Performs other related duties as required.     Department:Infection Control Work Type:Part Time Shift:Shift 1/ 8:00a-4:30p Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$27.45 - $37.06 / hour No on-call Performs a leadership role at her/his respective campus in providing an active, effective hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program that consists of surveillance, prevention and control of healthcare associated infections under the direction of the Manager Epidemiology-Infection Prevention. Presents all Infection related critical information and statistics at Campus Leadership Morning Huddle. Works directly with Campus dyad leadership for campus infection related items. Collaborates as a team member when representing Infection Prevention activities and while working with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports and is a role model for the organization vision and mission. This position uses knowledge of patients age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Works independently and with new technology to analyze surveillance findings and trends and researches evidence-based interventional strategies to address areas needing improvement. Co-leads Clinical Consensus workgroups with physicians leads. Develops and presents educational programs designed to change caregiver practices based on surveillance findings and evidence-based protocols. Independently takes off-hours call for Lee Health concerning Epidemiology/Infection Prevention. Serves on select hospital and/or system committees/task forces to provide effective infection prevention-related input for policy and procedure development or practice improvement. Provides input into the annual Infection Prevention Plan and assists in developing departmental priorities. Works in collaboration with the Infection Prevention Medical Director on projects and patient safety work plans. Educates staff at the elbow for all issues regarding Infection prevention and educates and serves as a resource for patients and families. Requirements Education: Bachelors degree required. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing BSN or, must have B.S or M.S in a related health care field such as Microbiology, Medical Technology, Epidemiology/Public Health. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years previous experience in staff nursing or related field. Must be knowledgeable in patient care practices and/or adult education principles. Have the ability to work with persons of varying education and cultural backgrounds. RN working experience in critical nursing experience is preferred. Certifications: Will attend a recognized training course (CDC/APIC) in Infection Prevention/Hospital Epidemiology. Must have and maintain current Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within three (3) years of hire into the position. License: RN licensure by the Florida State Board of Nursing, or professional license or certification as appropriate for his/her educational background preferred. Other: Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, and computer and statistical skills necessary for data analysis. Will attend State, Regional or National Infection Prevention conferences as System resources permit. Earns a minimum of 8 CEUs that will enhance their role as an Infection Preventionist during initial orientation and then annually. CEUs used for other IC certifications or renewing licenses that are required for IP position can also be applied to the annual required CEUs, as long as they will enhance their role as an Infection Preventionist. Support other Health Connect America offices by providing training and guidance in setting up and maintaining foster parent licensing requirements. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field. Two years of related experience working with children and families in a therapeutic treatment environment. Must possess a valid driver's license with consistent access to reliable transportation and automobile insurance in good standing. The T&D Coordinator will support production and support primary workforce in managing training programs for current and new employees, sustain training records, and work towards evolving the role to achieve standardization of training at the site. The T&D Coordinator will need to have experience of current primary roles as it relates to production to provide critical data on how to improve current standard of operating procedures. This is an essential role as the plant seeks to strengthen the skillsets and core competencies of all employees.
