This is professional and technical work training and coordinating instruction of personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in Human Resources or Organizational Development, three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in business, industry, or government employee training, which includes experience in management training, program design and delivery in both traditional and e-learning platforms.
Certification as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred.
Certification in one or more of the following is preferred: DISC, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Achieve Forum, Franklin Covey
Graduate level work in Organizational Development or Human Resources Development is preferred.

The Professional Development Specialist for HS is responsible for creating and implementing staff training; supporting staff professional development goals; and providing technical support for educational programs to increase the professional development of teaching staff and support staff that results in improved learning outcomes of staff and children.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide timely and professional communication to ECS staff, private providers, community partners, and professional organizations. Ensure a 24-hour response time during working business hours for missed phone calls and emails.
Update calendar daily with events and a task list.
Attend required workshops and in-service trainings and keep informed of current trends and new professional techniques through participating in professional workshops, conferences and seminars and by reading professional journals and publications, training and workshops/conferences related to early childhood development to increase knowledge of best practices.

Job Summary: Entry-level Direct Care position responsible for the supervision of clients (10 to 17 years) in a residential program.
This is a tiered position ranging from Tier 1 ($19) - Tier 3 ($23). Based on program needs, skills and experience.

Acts as first line role model for clients demonstrating, through words and actions, appropriate behaviors and social interactions utilizing the Youth Development System
