This is a full-time, remote, and exempt position. We are seeking a Principal Analytics Platform Engineer who will own DUOS' entire data foundation. They build the pipelines, models, tools, and AI-driven capabilities that empower every team-Product, Ops, Client, and Executive-to access clean, consistent, trustworthy data at scale. This role is responsible for evolving DUOS from manual analytics and ad-hoc SQL stitching into a modern, automated, AI-enabled analytics platform. They ensure that DUOS' Senior Staff Data Analyst and business teams spend time on insights, not data plumbing. What You'll Do Data Platform Architecture & Pipeline Ownership Design and own DUOS' data architecture on AWS, ensuring scalable, maintainable infrastructure for all data operations Build robust, automated pipelines for client file ingestion, normalization, deduping, and enrichment. Architect scalable ingestion into Salesforce, Iterable, or other operational systems. Implement versioned, testable, observable data transformations and modeling layers. AI-Enabled Self-Serve Analytics Build AI-driven tools enabling natural-language querying, automated insights, metadata discovery, and semantic layer navigation. Define and maintain DUOS' metrics layer enabling self-serve dashboards and consistent KPI definitions. Evaluate and integrate modern AI analytics tools. High-Quality Data Models & Business Logic Create reusable, well-documented data models powering all dashboards and operational reporting. Ensure consistent, durable logic for funnels, cohorting, attribution, ROI calculations, provider/member analytics, etc. Serve as the architectural owner of “source of truth” data assets. Cross-Functional Integration Own data flows into and out of client systems, marketing systems, Salesforce, and product pipelines. Partner with Engineering to ensure product features are instrumented correctly. Partner with Ops to ensure operational workflows are accurately captured and measurable. Data Quality, Governance, & Observability Implement systematic validation, schema monitoring, anomaly detection, and SLAs for critical data assets. Resolve upstream data issues proactively and improve reliability across ingestion paths. Define standards for naming, modeling, versioning, and documentation. Platform Vision & Leadership Set the long-term vision for DUOS' analytics platform and data architecture. Mentor data analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams on best practices in analytics engineering, AI-enabled analytics, and data governance. Lead multi-quarter initiatives transforming DUOS into a mature, scalable data organization. What We Are Looking For Expert-level SQL (Athena and PostgreSQL), data modeling, and analytics engineering. The main function of an AI Engineer- Prompt is to design and craft conversational prompts, messages, and responses for AI chatbots, virtual assistants, or customer service applications. Their role revolves around creating prompts that align with organizational objectives, provide a seamless user experience, and ensure effective interactions between users and AI systems. This entails developing a library of pre-defined prompts tailored to various scenarios, industries, and user needs. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects Gather and analyse system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data Analyse and review enhancement requests and specifications Implement system software and customise client requirements Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans Code new programs to the client's specifications and create test data for testing Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation Provide quality assurance reviews Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing Support Eval for Office services with a primary focus on evaluation of Suggested Users Actions (SUAs) across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other supported host applications. Maintain, validate, and automate the creation of test datasets for an LLM evaluation system. Integrate evaluation quality checks in our build and deployment pipeline, ensuring performance, efficiency, and scalability. Perform a mixture of hands-on and hands-off validation and leverage toolsets such as Seval in their work. The role will consist of creating evaluation test sets, running them, inspecting results, and iterating with partner teams; maintaining/validating test datasets as configuration-as-code; and building pipelines to report results and automate pieces of the evaluation process. Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to build and operate the middle services that power AI experiences in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a focus on prompt evaluation and related automation for those experiences. Key projects: This role will contribute to AI within Office apps, including evaluations for prompts, manual/automated testing, test environment setup, and coding activities needed to support these evaluations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Execute Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and development project tasks (architecture and planning, requirement definition, analog/digital/power-conversion circuit design, analysis, Printed Board (PB) layout review, and verification/test, etc.) by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development. Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product requirement compliance. Experience designing with modern processing technologies and architectures including micro-processors, FPGAs, and ASICs; DDR and flash memories; high speed physical and wireless communication and interconnects; and interfaces to sensors and guidance electronics. Proficiency with Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise Design Suite, HyperLynx analysis (Signal and Power Integrity), Timing Analysis, Decoupling Analysis, and LTSpice. Strong aptitude for low noise analog and sensor interface design and analysis, signal processing and conversion. Strong SPICE simulation experience including parametric modification and validation including Monte Carlo technique. Ability to generate PB layout constraint guidelines, oversee the layout and fabrication of the design. Experience ensuring designs meet the industry standards of DO-254 for Avionics Hardware Development and Certification. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
