PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs advanced engineering problem solving in support of power plants. Responsible for technical decisions. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability ensuring compliance to customer's needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies
Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring proper configuration management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices and codes are used in preparation of plans and specifications.

Job Description
The Robotics Engineer - Software & Integrations will be a critical member of Greensea IQ's multidisciplinary engineering team, with primary responsibility for the Bayonet Family of Products at our Plymouth, MA facility. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and integrating software into the Bayonet AUGV line of vehicles, RNAV family of systems, HANC Subsea Control System, and IQNS, ensuring production-ready deployment and robust system performance.
The engineer will lead the integration and testing of navigation, control, and embedded software systems on Bayonet products. They will collaborate closely with production technicians, software teams, and product managers, spending significant time in the field running and validating Bayonet systems.
Responsibilities
Serve as the principal stakeholder for the integration of software on the Bayonet line of products in Plymouth, MA location
Participate as a multidisciplinary engineering team member.

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment.
Develop and interpret requirements, drawings, data sets, reports, and specifications
Interface with other members of project teams to define and implement engineering solutions to meet systems mission objectives
Resolve programmatic and technical problems that would affect cost, schedule, and performance.
Develop, document and maintain test procedures, methods, and tools
Integrate technical, cost, and safety considerations into the product definition to comply with Department of Defense requirements
Perform system analyses, design studies, testing, and data collection/analysis
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science STEM
2+ years of engineering experience
Must be eligible to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, scheduled driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with submarine launcher, weapons handling, weapons stowage and/or Unmanned Underwater Vehicles is a plus
