Work Model: Onsite/In-Office Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Responsible for an asset lifecycle management portfolio containing all AF-owned roads, bridges, parking lots, curb and gutters, traffic signals, signage, marking, sidewalks, walkways, rail systems, final denial barrier (FDB), FDB control systems, FDB supporting safety systems, and docks including traffic management and planning. * Identify and accurately document current pavement conditions and deficiencies. * Recommend actions for correcting all deficiencies, including cost estimates as well as recommended improvements. * Incorporate pre-existing Facility Condition Assessment Data. * Provide timely and detailed reports and accurate data sheets for pavements. * Use appropriate mobile technology to document components encountered during assessments and provide justification for determination of the physical condition. * Ensure asset condition data (e.g., facility condition data, pavement condition data, RPIE condition data) collected in authorized IT system (e.g., IWIMS, ACERP, ACESPM, BUILDER, NexGen) or other approved tool (e.g., S-File, A-File, I-File) and visible for activity assets. * Review SOW, contract specifications, RFPs, for facilities electrical construction/repair projects to ensure the government receives mission capable, high performing warrantied products. * Perform assessments of pavements using professional expertise and judgment to determine physical condition and conformance with specifications and codes. * Organize and file hard copy and electronic folders and documents. * Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: * Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance, repair and engineering facility experience related to the specific Activity Management Plan (AMP) responsibilities assigned to perform. * Must be able to identify in the field common site civil, mechanical, electrical, and fire system components, understand how they function and operate, and have experience planning or performing maintenance, improvements, or repairs. * Must possess applicable building code and life safety knowledge to provide assessment services. * Shall have at least three (3) years of experience working in a military environment and familiarity with Air Force Civil Engineering guidance, rules, and regulations. * Experience using Microsoft Office applications. * Experience performing facility assessments and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) condition assessments and at least one year of experience working with data from geospatial databases. * Familiarity with current Air Force Real Property and linear segmentation guidance. * On-call as needed. * Active Secret Security clearance. * Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card. * Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position. * Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. * U.S. Citizenship. * Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
