POSITION SCOPE
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction activities for heavy civil construction projects to ensure quality and cost. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a project team or paving crew to assist with all functions of the project. The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Some night and weekend work will be required. Traveling is required.

PRIMARY DUTIES
Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing
Supervise, direct, and assist project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met, and work is completed on time and under budget
Develop and maintain project schedule and daily costs to ensure work is completed on time and under budget
Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion
Represent company during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication
Develop and maintain all material and submittal logs
Review, analyze, management, and resolution of field coordination issues within project team
Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience
3+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience
Proficiency with Blue Beam and OST preferred but not required
Proficiency with Heavy Job and HCSS preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR in accordance with Company Vehicle Program policy is required
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is required
Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold, and rain

What will you be doing?

The Field Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing technical equipment and systems at client sites. Key Responsibilities:
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT): Perform comprehensive electrical testing on low and medium voltage switchgear and related equipment, including point-to-point verification, insulation resistance (IR) / Hi-Pot testing, and contact resistance measurements.
Instrumentation Verification: Conduct and validate instrument loop checks for temperature, pressure, and flow measurement systems.
PLC Automation: Design, program, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley & Siemens PLC-based automation systems for power distribution and control applications.
Commissioning Support: Provide on-site commissioning assistance for data center power distribution units (PDUs) and related electrical or automation systems.
Field Support & Travel: Travel to customer sites as required to support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Automation Projects: Contribute to automation and control system integration across multiple site environments.
Electrical Design: Develop and design electrical engineering drawings and documentation for power distribution units and associated systems.
Qualifications:
Strong technical and analytical skills with hands-on problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and travel frequently to job sites.
Familiarity with safety regulations and field operation procedures.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.

POSITION SCOPE
The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction activities for heavy civil construction projects to ensure quality and cost. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a project team or paving crew to assist with all functions of the project. The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Some night and weekend work will be required. Traveling is required.

PRIMARY DUTIES
* Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing
* Supervise, direct, and assist project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met, and work is completed on time and under budget
* Develop and maintain project schedule and daily costs to ensure work is completed on time and under budget
* Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion
* Represent company during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication
* Develop and maintain all material and submittal logs
* Review, analyze, management, and resolution of field coordination issues within project team
* Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons

REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience
* 3+ years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience
* Proficiency with Blue Beam and OST preferred but not required
* Proficiency with Heavy Job and HCSS preferred but not required
* Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR in accordance with Company Vehicle Program policy is required
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is required
* Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold, and rain
