Minimum Requirements

Technical Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
3 years of professional/practical experience in HVAC/refrigeration industry in a product/system design and or field services role. 3 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial refrigeration preferred.
In-depth understanding of circulating air blower systems, heating & cooling systems (including refrigeration psychometrics), and electrical systems.
Experience with determining selections for components and equipment, such as fans, pumps, piping, etc.
Applied experience with the principles of fluid flow and airflow.
Preferred Candidate Requirements
5 years of professional/practical experience in HVAC/refrigeration industry in a product/system design and or field services role. 5 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial refrigeration preferred.
Experience with industrial controls systems preferred; software programming is a plus.
Design for Manufacturing, Design of Experiments; experience preferred.
Sound and/or vibration measurement and analysis experience is a plus.
Experience with heat transfer concepts is a plus.
Ability to run of FEA/CFD models and communicate design directions based on interpreted results.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working hours are the standard BAC 40 hours per week (8:30am-5:00pm with flexible start/finish times allowed)
Travel, both domestic and international, can be up to 15% of the time
The role supports global teams thus occasional evening/weekend hours required, although can often be done from home with the use of a portable computer.
Primarily Sedentary Activity in the office will be experienced; however periodic travel to BAC manufacturing facilities with assembly (medium work) is required.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
