Conceptualize from scratch AV systems designs

Maintain awareness of emerging technology that can fit our client's budget without sacrificing quality or reliability
The design engineer will be able to help in this area by:
Assist in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals
Assist and perform client site visits for initial surveys, ongoing technical assessment, and support for tech ops during integration, install, & commissioning
Assist programmer with technical direction when developing user interfaces & control programs and be able to support Crestron or BSS programming.
Create, and manage change orders to assist with maintain or increasing profitability on projects
Assist with technical oversight, red lines, and design questions during integration & commissioning of systems
Capture field mark ups and assist with generating As-Build drawings sets for the final design package
What do we require from you?
• CTS and/or CTS-D preferred

Job Summary -- Essential Functions/Duties
A Field Engineer III performs as a lead on more complex field engineering assignments and performs a variety of engineering assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic/mechanical equipment and systems.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
Operate radars and other electronic equipment on a daily basis.
Maintain, sustain, and troubleshoot and repair analog and digital equipment used in radar transmitters, receivers, timing assemblies, data collection, and RF and digital transmission lines.
Construct electronic and RF chassis using industry standard fabrication techniques for wiring and packaging.
Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation
Provide expert knowledge on Radio Frequency (RF) and RADAR principles
Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to obtain efficiencies
Implement test and troubleshooting processes
Develop basic data analysis tools, processes, or products for analysis
Analyze pre-test predictions to define data collection requirements

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $91,062.40 to $170,456.00 annually.
