Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent

Nuclear Engineering Change qualifications from any site that can be transferred are preferred

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is the tank farm operating contractor at the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. The H2C mission is to safely store, retrieve, and treat 56 million gallons of legacy radioactive and hazardous waste. This complex mission spans all competencies of engineering/science accomplished through a highly integrated engineering organization. Engineering at H2C supports all areas of the tank farm mission including Production Operations, Field Projects, Waste Feed Delivery Projects, Retrievals, and long term innovations.

Field Robotics Engineer
As a Field Robotics Engineer at Carbon Robotics you are responsible for ensuring customer success via successful implementation and support of Carbon Robotics Equipment. You'll be responsible for owning, scheduling, and prioritizing maintenance tasks on the LaserWeeders as well as owning and ensuring successful implementations. This includes training of operators, making usage recommendations based on agronomic knowledge and implementing set up. You will also act as a liaison to engineering and product departments by communicating customer wishes and complaints, equipment performance and pain points or bottlenecks.

The training of operators and all farm personnel required to successfully implement the use of Carbon Robotics equipment to growers.
Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned accounts.

To schedule, coordinate and prioritize bi-weekly maintenance tasks on Slayers in collaboration with the support team.

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is the tank farm operating contractor at the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. The H2C mission is to safely store, retrieve, and treat 56 million gallons of legacy radioactive and hazardous waste. This complex mission spans all competencies of engineering/science accomplished through a highly integrated engineering organization. Engineering at H2C supports all areas of the tank farm mission including Production Operations, Field Projects, Waste Feed Delivery Projects, Retrievals, and long term innovations.
Production Operations Engineering provides a variety of engineering services in support of the operation and maintenance of Integrated Tank Disposition Contract (ITDC) facilities and ensuring proper implementation of engineering requirements, including: developing inputs, assumptions and design criteria for tank farm facility modifications; administrating the System Engineering program and providing Cognizant System Engineering (CSE) and Shift Technical Engineer (STE) support to facilities; providing resident waste transfer and characterization technical expertise and facility knowledge in support of operability determinations, performance monitoring program, centralized resolution of Structures, Systems, and Components (SSC) performance problems; and providing Maintenance Engineering support.

The Electrical Engineer works in the Tank Farm Project and Chief Technology Office Organization, supporting the Tank Farms Projects (TFP) Engineering team, working closely with project engineers, project managers and internal/external agencies. Electrical engineers are responsible for providing engineering support to the H2C mission within the Engineering Organization. Duties of the electrical engineer will typically include design, specification, analysis, testing, fabrication support, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems. Electrical power and control systems are resident in all existing tank farm facilities and new facilities under design and construction
Tasks include coordinating engineering aspects of their assigned projects to include performing field walk downs, interfacing with craft/field crews, development of Engineering Change Documentation and Statements of Work (SOW) as well as working with various internal and external design A&E and fabrication vendors.
