The Delivery Driver will perform the numerous duties to support the plant receiving and warehousing functions in regard to timely delivery of materials and distribution to appropriate departments. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Verify loads against shipping papers; verify labels and quantity Collect Signatures for goods delivered Maintain DOT requirements. Maintain truck log (LTL shipping bills, signs, shrink-wrap, packing slips) Load and unload goods to and from truck Assure delivery to appropriate departments and locations Prepare receipts for loads picked up Applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road in the area Hels with palletization and shrink-wrap of daily goods. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and company policies. Use of forklift and hand pallet jacks to unload shipments from trucks and move to storage area or deliver to appropriate departments Work overtime and weekend hours as needed Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and management.
