General Purpose
Manage multi-state Workers Compensation (WC) claims by maintaining efficiencies in the processing, tracking, reporting, sharing, and updating of workers compensation information within the WC claims database and with insurance carriers/TPA throughout the entire process. Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
Essential Functions
Perform high-volume data entry of work-related injuries, incidents, and conservative treatment information into Elwood's WC database.
Coordinate the flow of claims information to insurance carriers or TPAs; collaborate with adjusters and other stakeholders as directed by the Director of Risk Management.
Gather and review accident investigation details and witness statements to help confirm claim validity.
Keep all claim files current, including updates on doctor visits, medical notes, follow-ups, and return-to-work details.
Maintain a weekly injury summary report for departmental review.
Review mileage reimbursements, medical bills, and drug screen invoices for accuracy and payment.
Review claim-related forms for accuracy and follow up on any missing or incomplete information.
Distribute audit reports periodically to branches regarding missing or incomplete claim paperwork.
Partner with the Director to support claims handling and help resolve complex or urgent matters.
Work closely with medical providers, adjusters, lawyers, and internal staff to resolve issues efficiently.
Immediately report any workplace deaths, catastrophic events, or serious injuries (work-related or not) to the Director.
Close resolved claims promptly to ensure open claim data stays accurate and up to date.
Complete other assignments as needed in an accurate and timely manner.

General Purpose of an On-Site Specialist:
The On-Site Specialist supports the overall success and improvement of the client's On-Site program. Essential Functions of an On-Site Specialist:
If you have held positions similar to Restaurant Server, Administrative Assistant, Call center, Bank Teller or Customer Service Representative then you already have experience with the following:
Develop a strong working relationship with the client's management team.
Build effective relationships with all stakeholders to anticipate future needs and recruit temporary resources to meet those needs.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all client personnel, temporary associates, and company personnel.
Regularly meet with the client's supervisory personnel to confirm the client's satisfaction with the associate performance and address concerns.
Intimate knowledge of client's facilities, positions, and policies.
Collaborate with the branch team, regional, and corporate personnel to meet client performance expectations.
Assist with identifying and assigning temporary associates who meet the client's standards regarding job skills and level of ability.
Maintain regular contact with the current pool of temporary associates to clarify their availability for future assignments.
Conduct new hire orientations to ensure all associates are aware of applicable company policies and safety issues before starting
Follow the best practices for engaging newly hired associates.
Respond to client and temporary associate concerns promptly; recommend and/or implement steps to resolve problems, prevent their reoccurrence, and document according to standard operating procedures.
Walk the floor throughout the day, engaging with supervisors and associates, observing interactions, addressing safety issues, and assessing production demands.
Complete injury reports and assist injured workers in getting medical treatment following company policy and procedures.
Monitor turnover regularly and develop strategies to reduce turnover.

Experience in a customer service role preferred.
