RN Certified Wound Ostomy Responsible for wound and ostomy care and oversight for patients referred to the Wound & Ostomy department; including wound care assessment, implementation of wound care interventions, ostomy consultations, stoma site markings, consultation with physicians, communication and collaboration with members of the care team, and support organizational education activities promoting wound healing and ostomy care. EDUCATION: Required: As required by RN licensure. Preferred: Bachelors degree in Nursing. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Required: Current valid Oregon RN license. Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements. AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification. Preferred: Board Certified Wound Care or Ostomy Care Certification through ABWM or WOCNCB. EXPERIENCE: Required: One (1) year experience in an acute wound care setting.
