The Nurse Extern can perform nursing practice interventions which have been demonstrated through competency based orientation and is validated by an RN staff member. Performs various nursing duties related to the general welfare and personal hygiene of assigned patients under the supervision of the registered nurse. Assist with activities to assist the patient in meeting basic human needs including but not limited to nutrition, hydration, mobility, comfort, elimination, socialization, rest, and hygiene. Collects, reports, and documents simple data. Position Qualification: Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing Program‚ Demonstrates successful completion of two Clinical Nursing Courses BLS Certification Effective oral and written communication skills in the English Language.
