Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and record residents' vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to assist residents with daily care needs and assignments
Educate residents and their families about medications, procedures, and overall health management.
Document resident care and progress accurately in electronic health records.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education to enhance professional skills.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident care areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for state applying
Proven experience within a long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

• Patient ratios are typically 1:1 to 1:3,
• Work includes care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and Level I Nursery settings,
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15,
• Weekend rotation includes 4-6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule,
• Mandatory holiday coverage includes 1 major holiday and 1-2 minor holidays per contract,
• On-call required: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule period,
• Floating may be required within the LDRP and between departments or facilities as needed,
• Unit handles vaginal births, C-sections, gynecology surgeries, postpartum care, and antenatal testing,
• Epic experience required for charting,
Job Requirements
• Active MO or compact RN license in hand at time of application,
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required,
• At least 1 year of specialty L&D experience within the past 12 months; no gap longer than 90 days in the past year,
• Current BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications required,
