Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial element of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations systematically, monitor the battle collectively, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapons systems to accomplish global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that provide an optimized response to threats of all ranges during all flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations globally and regionally to enhance performance. C2BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate current and future missile defense system capabilities.
This position is for a SoftwareEngineer on the C2BMC program. The candidate will be responsible for software development in the Java language for the Regional Applications team in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting Enterprise Services (ENT).
Essential Functions:
* Responsible for Java software development
* Under appropriate supervision, provides updates to multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, application implications, and customer areas
* Responsible for performing analysis and providing technical support for system software products, including problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Position Description: Caliola builds secure and resilient products for mission critical solutions. Experience with Java build systems.
Ability to collaborate with internal and external developers and integrating their components into a larger framework with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledgeable with IDE for Java software development or other similar experience.
Experience with Gitlab or other similar experience.
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience using/writing Ansible automation scripts.
Experience with VMware toolsets.
Experience with C++ programming language.
Working knowledge of SQL databases.
Work Environment:
Ability to work at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required depending on operational needs.
