Meet the Team
Orchestration and Automation is now a key part of any technology and in our organization, we bridge the gap between what products do and customers need. As Software Consulting Engineer Intern, you will work directly with your Manager and Mentor to gain hands on experience of developing software solutions for customers using Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle processes, across different Cisco technologies. You will have the opportunity to participate in one or more projects, and interact with customers, Software Architects, Delivery Engineers, Managers and Cisco Customer Experience (CX) Leadership.
Your Impact
During the program you will participate in day-to-day delivery activities such as coding, customer meetings, deliverable creation, building labs, DevOps, deployment, and troubleshooting. Minimum Qualifications

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Air Vehicle System Test Engineer - Engineering Field Service Representative** (FSR) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. **Sr. Principal System Test Engineer responsibilities include:**

+ Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting.

The Opportunity
Due to excellent success in the latest ARC DECRA round, the Faculty of IT wishes to appoint three x 3 year fixed-term Level B Teaching & Research academics into its Software Systems and Cybersecurity and Data Science & AI Departments.
The Department of Data Science & AI is seeking a Teaching & Research academic working in Large Language Models and Agentic AI. We are looking for candidates whose research focus is on the development of intelligent agent frameworks incorporating planning, memory, tool use, safety and evaluation methodologies, and neuro-symbolic integration, likely with a focus on NLP.
The Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity is seeking to appoint two Teaching & Research academics. One will be an expert in Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge Computing. The successful candidate will focus on: design and deployment of scalable IoT architectures, environmental and urban sensing systems, data fusion, large-scale real-time data-driven environments, and low-power sensor networks in resource-constrained settings. Application domains will be across smart cities, intelligent transportation systems, sustainable infrastructure, and digital healthcare.
A second position will be in SoftwareEngineering to further strengthen the Department of Software Systems and Cybersecurity's technical expertise. The successful candidate will advance research at the intersection of softwareengineering (SE) and programming languages (PL), with potential secondary expertise in one or more of IoT, smart environments, or cybersecurity. Emphasis on AI-powered tools for SE/PL, including program analysis, automated repair, and software testing is sought. Appointees will bring strong technical capability to collaborate with related groups in cybersecurity, data engineering, and data science & AI.

+ Collaborate with business partners and other technology professionals to develop and deploy the latest, advanced technologies in support of product manufacturing optimization.

+ Manage and/or support the execution of a varied portfolio of DTI projects with appropriate portfolio planning, resource and risk management and financial management for the portfolio
+ Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to ensure that the applications are aligned with standard city planning approved architectural and development guidelines
+ Lead selected efforts to design, build, and develop rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) automated solutions and services. Quickly and iteratively prove or disprove the concepts being considered
+ Synthesize requirements from end-users, application architects, and cybersecurity experts to develop the best automation solutions
+ Work closely with the business and DTI Manufacturing System Engineers to identify opportunities to stop inefficient practices, simplify business processes, and codify into automated solutions and platforms
+ Ensure all work is completed within GMP regulations

+ Doctorate degree, OR
+ Master's degree and 2 years of Information Systems, Engineering and/or Information technology experience, OR

+ Associate's degree and 8 years of Information Systems, Engineering and/or Information technology experience, OR

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or others related fields.
+ 5+ years' experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating automated solutions across SaaS, Cloud, On-prem and custom software developed platforms.
+ Knowledge of several industry 4.0 technologies including, but not limited to Process Modeling and Simulation, Data Driven Process Control, Internet of Things, Automated Warehouse solutions, and Automated Guided Vehicles. Methods and technologies to support.
+ Manufacturing Data integrations (e.g., SQL, Web Services/messaging, data mapping).
+ Hands-on experience with computerized systems including troubleshooting, reliability, and performance improvements. Experience with Process Design/Configuration and Commissioning.
+ Proficient technical writing and presentation skills to communicate sophisticated information effectively with technical and senior management staff.
+ Expertise with translating business requirements/user stories to technical requirements and recommend solutions for automation.
+ Experience with Data analysis and reporting experience by using analytics, visualization, and database technologies.
+ Experience or solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), 21CFR Part 11 regulations, change control and validation.
+ Willing and able to learn new technologies at a rapid pace Experience in supporting key manufacturing systems with 24×7 operations individually and with vendors.
+ Experience with Agile Product Development delivery and SAFe practices.
