Job Description Job Summary: The Applications Engineer - Gas Engine Controls will be responsible for supporting/leading the development and execution of control systems for power generation driven by reciprocating gas engines. A main focus of the Applications Engineer is the retrofit and conversion of control systems to a broad range of programmable controls, with a focus on multipoint injection controls and associated gas valve equipment, as well as auxiliary control systems be they PLC's, HMI's, SCADA, AVR's, protective relays, power management controls. The Applications Engineer will be expected to take a project from conception through design and testing to onsite commissioning and all the necessary documentation on the way. Will also be responsible for inspecting and testing electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repairs. Reporting work scope, all activities, findings and conditions with documentation in accordance to manufacturer specifications and MSHS-ISO standards.
