**Role:** The Smart Agents group is responsible for building the ML models and system to simulate road users in a variety of situations and generate the scenarios used for testing and training AV driving policies. If you think of Simulation as a video game our autonomous vehicles train on to learn to drive, the Smart Agents team develops the ML/AI models that control the other characters in the video game to interact in realistic ways as the av drives-eg, the other vehicles, bikers, and pedestrians. Our technology stack includes Generative AI models (GPT) and Reinforcement Learning (RL) policies. The Smart Agents group work closely with the rest of the Simulation, and our partners Behaviors, Perception, and Safety Engineers.
The specific duties may include ML/RL model development as well as training loop development, streamlining optimization, integration, creating ML infrastructure, metrics, and data pipelines for production model deployment as well as for fast experimentation cycles.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Support the team in developing machine learning (ML) and reinforcement learning (RL) models, including training loop development and optimization.
+ Streamline integration and create ML infrastructure, metrics, and data pipelines for production model deployment and rapid experimentation.

**Compensation** **:** The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
+ The salary range for this role is $134,000 to $235,900. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
+ Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Air Vehicle System Test Engineer - Engineering Field Service Representative** (FSR) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation (T&E) organization.
This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. If no immediate international or Guam deployment location is available, the candidate may be relocated to work at one of our core U.S. locations for the immediate future.
The FSR will be embedded with a US Navy unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the sailors in the unit with system operations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The Navy's intent is for sailors to be the primary operators and maintainers of the system, with the FSR providing training/assistance as needed to keep the system fully mission capable. **Sr. Principal System Test Engineer responsibilities include:**
+ Interfacing with NGC and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance Technicians, US Navy service members, and Subsystem SMEs in order to sustain operations.

+ Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting.

+ Responsible for providing inputs to update Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS).
+ Reviews/provides inputs during engineering development and executes Detailed Test Requirements, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Ground Test Plans.
+ Installs, operates, troubleshoot, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment, in accordance with IETMS and/or other engineering directives (TDs/ECRs/TEIs/AMRs/MAFs).
+ Perform a variety of Organizational / Depot-level maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
+ Develop general knowledge of all aircraft systems, VTC/PTC, Engineering Design and software. Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of air vehicle systems at the customer location including operations on a flightline, or in a hangar.
+ Ability to interpret and trace electrical and Air Vehicle schematics. Perform essential electrical and RF troubleshooting using equipment such as but not limited to: Multimeter, Network/Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Time-Domain Reflectometer (TDR), etc.
+ Able to perform/support review and analysis of engineering schematics, supplier design data, support of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration on the Air Vehicle.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math (STEM)
+ A minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with a BS Degree, 6 years engineering experience with a MS degree in STEM Field, or 4 years with a PhD in STEM Field

Overview of Position
As our Software Development Manager, you'll lead a team building the cloud-based platforms that keep our airborne sensing technology flying - and help reduce methane emissions globally. + Serve as the subject matter expert on SAP data structures (e.g., master data, transactional data), data integration methods, and data governance principles.
+ Ensure compliance with project standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the data conversion process.
+ Partner with other technical architects (e.g., infrastructure, security) to ensure the data conversion solution is scalable, secure, and aligns with the enterprise architecture.
+ Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior team members.

+ Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience preferred
+ 8+ years of experience with SAP implementations and ABAP knowledge in respective business processes like Master data, OTC, PRI, SCE, RTR and PTP preferred.
+ 3-5 years of experience with SAP Data Services and Data conversions preferred.
+ Experience in ALE/IDOC, LSMW, RDM/BPDM
+ Demonstrates a knowledge of Master Data Management domain
