As a Data Center Construction Manager, you will be part of a creative, diverse team tasked with solving fascinating problems in constructing Amazon Data Centers. Our data centers are industry-leading examples of energy-efficient, cost-effective designs. You will work alongside partner teams such as Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our Customers.
As our Data Center Construction Manager, you will build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. You will be on the construction site daily, interacting with the construction trades as Amazon's owner's representative. You will be directly responsible for driving cost, schedule, and quality while managing construction vendors and contractors building data centers.

Key job responsibilities
The Data Center Construction Manager will be responsible for construction project management and oversight of construction-related activities as they relate to new builds or general capital projects. This includes ownership of the project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
Some of the typical daily tasks of the Construction Manager:
-Direct interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases.
-Conduct negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
-Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
-Perform financial analysis of construction.
-Manage construction projects for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
-Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs associated with the construction of new data centers or optimization of existing data centers.
-Manage construction documents including submittal review, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
-Ensure construction project quality control.
Record and report key construction metrics to team members and management.
-Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis associated with equipment failures.
-Be a leader within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management and 14+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent engineering science degree *OR * 18 years of related construction management experience *in lieu* of a degree
-14+ years of relevant experience constructing and managing complex MEP systems, including large-scale power distribution/generation gear and cooling systems in mission-critical environments

-Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all disciplines, and ability to create and maintain project documentation.
-Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations (e.g., Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA) and certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), LEED, or Certified Construction Manager (CCM).

Track documentation out for review of Working Group, Hardware, Software and Fleet Support review items. Assign reviews to various activities. Collect and collate comments and provide to author for adjudication
Provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of system test including requirements review for testability and clarity, test plan and procedure development, test execution, and test evaluation
Evaluate functional qualification tests for coverage of fleet operational procedures
Develop ILS Impact Statements for all new enhancements to the TTWCS
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• In-depth knowledge of Naval Surface Warfare programs and operations such as AEGIS and Tomahawk

Leading-edge Managed Services Provider is looking for an IT Services Support Assistant for a supporting role to a highly functional IT Services team who is passionate about great client outcomes. This position initially involves a variety of tasks including basic dispatching and help desk support, inventory support, and assisting the Service Manager and Financial and Procurement Administrator in carrying out their roles. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in addition to an interest in working as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Dispatch Support (Training will be provided)
Coordinate and assist with the management of dispatch of IT service requests to appropriate team members.
Learn to manage and handle Help Desk requests
Monitor and track the status of service requests to ensure timely resolution.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide updates on service requests.
Inventory Support
Maintain accurate records of IT equipment and supplies.
Assist in the procurement of necessary IT hardware and software.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure all assets are accounted for.
Assistant to the Service Manager
Provide occasional administrative support to the Service Manager, including providing requested service metrics or specific service updates
Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for management review.
Coordinate team activities and events as directed by the Service Manager.
Assistant to the Finance and Procurement Administrator
Support the Financial and Procurement Administrator in managing equipment receipt
Assist with invoicing by verifying licensing and services consumption volumes
Provide general office supply support (minimal)
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent; additional certifications in IT or administration are a plus.
Previous experience in a support role within an IT environment is desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of IT systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
The IT Services Support Assistant will work in a dynamic, fast-paced and supportive environment. The position may require occasional lifting of light IT equipment and supplies. IT Team is generally remote every Thursday.
