Responsible for the entry, accuracy, and maintenance of inventory quantities within the Deacom ERP Software. Responsible closing of production jobs and work orders for production activities daily Assists in transactional consequence of moving inventory between locations to ensure timely availability of inventory for production (intracompany transfers) Records production transactions for 3rd party tolling companies (for overflow production support) and reconciles inventory discrepancies from 3rd party tolling activities Generate reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and other relevant metrics Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies Identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, shortages, and other inventory-related problem Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and warehouse operations, to ensure smooth inventory flow. Additional duties as assigned to meet business needs Inventory Control Clerk Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years of experience understanding inventory management; including cycle counting and root cause analysis Computing (MS Excel, Word, Outlook), business system (Decom ERP), and analytic/ numerical skills Associate's degree preferred or a combination of high school diploma and experience. Ability to read and understand English is required Effective communication skill Basic mathematical calculations skills for inventory counts and adjustments. Verify that operators follow Work Orders and Bills of Materials (BOM); report discrepancies to Supervisors and Quality Management. Generate DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports) in the EPICOR ERP system for all defective or non-compliant products. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other standard inspection equipment. Follow all Quality Control procedures and test plans as defined. Inspect, evaluate, and document customer returns. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company policies. Complete assignments and tasks as directed by Quality Management. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Manufacturing is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect and document high volumes of product accurately. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities. Ability to operate basic inspection and measuring devices effectively. Comfortable working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Willingness and ability to train on First Shift before moving to Second Shift. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems. Understanding of DMR processes and quality documentation practices. Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI) is a plus.
