Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Two (2) years of machine and/or stamping press operation experience. A working knowledge of SPC.

LANGUAGE

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
• Set ups, adjusts and operates stamping press machines to produce parts in accordance with specifications.
• Sets, aligns and secures dies, sets ram stroke, etc. to perform such operations as punching, shearing, blanking, and forming.
• Responsible for setting up progressive stamping tools including the feeder.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for general maintenance of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Must be able to follow work practices and safety guidelines and regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations; ability to stand on feet for 10 hour shifts.





Mon - Thur (4:40pm - 3:10am)
This is a (4) day a week, (10) hours per night shift
40 Hours Regular Shift
Overtime hours are available if/when needed
