Pros of working at Stanadyne

Cons of working at Stanadyne

9 months after Cerebus bought the company, they axed my contract without paying my final contract balance. They didn't pay me for over $100k worth of digital products sitting on their servers that were on a payment plan. In 2019, they had a massive hack and all of their customer data was stolen/leaked and the site redirected to a Russian Cialis/Viagra site. Their current dealer platform was developed around 2008 and is completely out of FTA compliance. This is what I was rebuilding and didn't get paid for. The previous ownership couldn't come up with the budget to bring the site into compliance, so we spread the payments out over 3 years. The new ownership ended those payments, and I've spent the previous 9 months attempting to collect my money. Stanadyne is going as far as refusing to send me my tax documents that they have on file so I can go through proper labor agencies to receive my payment. Things as simple as a W-9 request for their tax ID so I can fill out an IRS form. They also hired an outside counsel to try to intimidate me/retaliate for even trying to collect on the money that they owe me. At one point (Dec '23), there was an update that the outside counsel was willing to settle, but internal counsel (Cerebus?) rejected it, saying it would set a bad precedent for other contractors in the future (if they pay the money they owe? - baffling). And at the end of the day, while I attempt to get sorted - nobody's data there is safe. They are completely out of compliance and at high risk. Simple scans - not even deep scans - will show all of my concerns to be legitimate for the protection on their customers/visitors data. I have this all documented.
