1934 – George Miether starts Miether Machine Works (MMW) serving West Texas Oil Boom
1948 – Robert F. Waddell founded Standard Locknut and Lock Washer Co.
1957 – MMW builds first split pillow block housing for industrial application
1960 – MMW moves to current location and Incorporates
1968 – Standard entered the industrial markets with accessories and pillow blocks & began contract machining business
1970 – MMW is purchased by Alco Standard
1980 – MMW becomes Miether Bearing Products
1986 – Alco Standard sells Miether Bearing Products to a group of former managers (Alco Industries).
1994 – Standard consolidated operations into new facility in Westfield, IN
2008 – Miether Bearing Products expands to over 50,000 sq. feet and operates over 20 CNC machines
2013 – Standard Westfield, IN employer of the year
2015 – Standard acquired by Dunes Point Capital
In 2016, Standard Locknut, LLC and Miether Bearing Products merged to offer the highest quality bearing accessories, pillow blocks and precision machined components to the market.
