Our products have been transforming lives since 1929.
Standard Process was founded in 1929 by Doctor Royal Lee who committed his life to advancing health through whole food nutrition.
In 1956, the Post Office Department charged Lee’s foundation with fraudulent promotion of a book called Diet Prevents Polio.
Charlie DuBois started his career at Standard Process in 1983 doing various summer jobs, including hand-weeding the beet fields on the farm.
In 1996, the DuBois family became the third generation to own Standard Process, with Charlie carrying on the legacy of his great uncle, Doctor Royal Lee.
In 1997, the United States Postal Service ruled that Health Alert did not qualify for the periodical postal rate because it was used to advertise products that he sold through another aspect of his business .
BACK IN HISTORY 1997 Nutritionally balanced whole food StandardBars® are introduced into the company’s product line.
January 2002 Standard Process introduces whole food supplements that provide nutritional support to dogs and cats in its newest product line, Standard Process Veterinary Formulas.
2004 Standard Process celebrates its 75th anniversary.
