Day - 10 Hour (United States of America) Head/Neck Advanced Practice Provider (APP) : For Advanced Practice Providers (DNPs, NPs, PAs) that wish to work in Oncology, with a sub-specialty in Head/Neck Medical Oncology, we are actively recruiting for 2 full time positions. Head/Neck cancers include cancers of the nasopharynx, sinuses, oropharynx (both HPV-mediated and those from heavy smoking/alcohol use), oral cavity, tongue, salivary glands, among others (including skin cancers that metastasize to Head/Neck regions). Given the location and complexity of these cancer diagnoses, caring for head and neck cancer patients is both technically complex and emotionally compelling. The APP will build expertise/knowledge/skills in general medicine as well as in the Head/Neck Medical Oncology specialty. Stanford Health Care strives to ensure APPs work at the top of their license/scope, therefore APPs will transition over time from working in co-shared settings with their MD colleagues to treating the same patient panel in their APP independent clinic.
