A Brief Overview
In conjunction with the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Director, the OEM Program Manager develops, plans, initiates and monitors an effective "all- hazards" emergency management program for Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine Children's Health by supporting enterprise-wide prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery efforts.

What you will do
* Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of emergency drills and full-scale or functional emergency exercises.
* Translate lengthy text documents into clear, concise emergency response algorithms for the training and response of hospital and clinic staff.
* Provide projectmanagement support and help lead components of the emergency management governance structure, including response, function, and hazard-specific subcommittees and workgroups. Develop and present reports to leadership.
* Interpret, mark up, and leverage maps of facilities (e.g., floorplans) and regional hazard maps to inform site-specific emergency response plans for the hospitals as well as offsite clinics and business occupancies.
* Investigate, research, and make recommendations based on emergency management best practices and lessons learned from recent incidents.
* Design, develop, coordinate and conduct hospital-wide and site-specific training in emergency management, response, and recovery for all levels of personnel in the organizations.
* Design and produce online and printed resources to train staff for their emergency response roles. Manage distribution and audit compliance of current documents in organization.
* Guide and coordinate department leaders' development of department-specific continuity of operations plans to minimize disruption and help ensure continued safe, quality patient care in a disaster or major emergency.
* Collaborate with fellow OEM team members and colleagues throughout the organizations to execute all phases of exercise/event/incident management including organization, setup, and participation and debriefing/issue resolution.
* Write policies, procedures, plans, and QI reports for the emergency management program/plan to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Analyze and manage data for the emergency management program to be used in reports and analysis of program efforts.
* Participate in on-call rotation duties for the Office of Emergency Management.
Education Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Required
* Completion of FEMA Independent Study Courses (within 30 days of employment):
* IS-100. Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS 100
* IS-200. Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response, ICS-200

Experience Qualifications

* Skilled in designing recovery strategies to enable the departments, medical clinic buildings, support centers, to both reduce their vulnerabilities to natural and man-made disasters, and simultaneously increase their ability to fully recover their functionality following a disaster.
* Skilled in writing Business Continuity Plans which incorporate the results of the data analysis, and recovery strategies to be used when the plans are invoked as a result of a disaster.
* Knowledge of testing business continuity plans and process
* Skilled in maintaining Business Continuity Plans and providing education to local management, department administrators and line staff, as appropriate, as to the content of the plan, how to effectively use the plan, and participate in the plan review and update.

The IRIS Center develops and disseminates free, engaging online resources about evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices to support the education of all students, particularly struggling learners, and those with disabilities. These resources, designed to bridge the research-to-practice gap, are intended for use in college teacher preparation programs, in professional development (PD) activities for practicing professionals, and by independent learners. The array of IRIS resources includes modules, case studies, information briefs, course/PD activities, a high-leverage practices alignment tool, and an online glossary of disability-related terms as well as supporting products to enhance their use in coursework and PD activities. All these resources are hosted for free on the center's barrier-free website.
The IRIS+ platform offers annual subscriptions to schools and districts that include enhanced IRIS Modules for educators, complete with a certificate of completion. The administrator dashboard allows school and district leaders to implement a structured professional development plan across the school year by assigning modules, tracking completion rates, and accessing a host of individual and group analytics (e.g., posttest scores, completion times, topics or content that need more targeted training).

A Brief Overview
The Design and Construction ProjectManager is responsible for managing the day-to-day efforts related to programming, planning, design, construction, and activation of small projects for the Stanford Health Care (SHC) under the general supervision of the Director. Ensures completion of projects within budget, on schedule, while meeting all program objectives and appropriate governmental regulations. Also acts as a liaison between the client/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside jurisdictional agencies.

What you will do
* Assesses, and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also hospital and external jurisdictional criteria for heal and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
* Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as department representative on committees and professional organizations.
* Implements quality control measures to ensure project compliance with department, hospital, and university policies, government codes and regulations; also ensures conformance to the requirements of all project participants.
* Maintains communications on a regular and timely basis, ensuring that all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions.
* Manages the process of furnishing and equipment selection, purchasing, and installation.
* Manages the review and approval process to ensure appropriate approvals of all design work from schematic studies through final construction documents and related field changes and changes in scope; as well as approval for conceptual and detailed projects budgets.
* Manages the selection process and contract negotiations for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
* Prepares and maintains accurate, coherent, timely, and auditable project records/files, and cost estimates with department procedures; and ensures that space inventory reports are complete.
* Provides leadership, and supervision to assigned consultants.
Education Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
Experience Qualifications
* Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Ability to budget, make financial projections and write reports
* Ability to ensure project compliance with hospital infection control procedures
* Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation
* Ability to handle potentially sensitive situations by applying consultative skills in working with internal and external constituent groups
* Ability to plan, organize, motivate, mentor, direct and evaluate the work of others
* Ability to prioritize work by making informed judgments and to develop solutions for complex problems
* Ability to utilize projectmanagement tools
* Knowledge of CAD system, CAFM, estimating, cost control, scheduling, construction administration, quality control, specification writing, and space planning
* Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility
* Knowledge of technical, professional and business in the fields of healthcare delivery, architecture, and construction, and building design process
Licenses and Certifications
* PMP - Project Mgmt Professional preferred .
* CFM certification preferred .

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $66.52 - $88.14 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
