We are seeking a Program Manager, Strategic Ventures to play a key role in the development and execution of the work of the new Strategic Ventures team for Stanford Medicine. This position is on the Strategic Ventures team and reports to the Director. **Duties include*:** + Serve as the primary project manager for a number of core team initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the launch and operations of a unique research program positioned to benefit patients globally. Under the direction of the Program Faculty Director and in close collaboration with a faculty leadership team the Program Manager will be responsible for advancing the vision, strategy, and goals of the program. The role involves managing a multi-disciplinary research program, supporting the identification of new research activities for funding support and coordination of progress reporting. The Program Manager will also lead community engagement and outreach efforts focused on research, clinical and patient stakeholders. The Program manager will lead the administrative activities of the program including coordinating leadership meetings and discussions with internal and external collaborators and partners. The Program Manager will oversee the planning and realization of key scientific and community events, including round table discussions among experts, collaborative project meetings and community-facing programming. Under the direction of the Program Faculty Director and in close collaboration with a faculty leadership team the Program Manager will be responsible for advancing the vision, strategy, and goals of the program. The role involves managing a multi-disciplinary research program, supporting the identification of new research activities for funding support and coordination of progress reporting. The Program Manager will also lead community engagement and outreach efforts focused on research, clinical and patient stakeholders. BSL's mission is to ensure that the United States and its allies understand biology as a strategic domain and act accordingly. The role involves administering, supporting, and managing BSL programs under the supervision of the Senior Research Program Manager and with guidance from faculty and senior Hoover leadership. TheCenter for Human and Planetary Health, launched in October 2024, is the newest Center hosted at the Woods Institute, in close collaboration with the Center for Innovation in Global Health at the Stanford School of Medicine. The Center advances research, solutions, and education to improve health and sustainability. The Center's lead contamination research initiative, now called Project Unleaded, is a critical part of the new Center. Project Unleaded's efforts began in 2020 and have spanned 6 countries with 7 external partners. Project Unleaded prioritizes policy-relevant research and deep engagement with local partners in affected countries to achieve lasting change. Project Unleaded's mission is to create a healthier world by addressing lead poisoning at the source. Research priorities center around 3 goals: 1. To identify critical lead exposure sources linked with the human lead burden 2. To develop, test, and scale-up interventions to eliminate sources of lead 3. The Research and Program Manager will initially take a hands-on role in developing and managing core research activities, including study design, field implementation, and data coordination. The Sustainability Accelerator seeks an experienced Assistant Director to lead and oversee the planning of programs and functions at both the Flagshipand Accelerator levels. Under the guidance of an Accelerator Managing Director, the candidate will assist Accelerator Flagship-funded project teams in developing their solutions and externalization plans. The Assistant Director will drive the grant and project selection process and contribute to the support services and training offered by the Accelerator. Under the direction of the Accelerator Executive Director, the candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes, knowledge management, and other cross-Flagship-cutting practices across the Accelerator to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment, thereby facilitating execution of Accelerator goals. **CORE DUTIES** **:** + Lead the development and execution of programs or functions that support project teams to develop externalization plans, including business, regulatory, and/or technical derisking. + Evaluate programs or functions, and procedures across the Accelerator.
