What You'll Do
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be part of our Material Handling team located in Willard, Ohio You'll get to
* Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift
* Loading and unloading parts
* Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy
* Keep plant stocked with the proper amount of parts
* Avoid overstocking facility with excess inventory
* Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies
* Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures
* Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized
* Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader

Primary Responsibilities
Unload incoming trailers from plant or suppliers of finished goods using hand or electric powered equipment.
Check incoming shipments and place material in proper storage bin locations while maintaining proper stock rotation of materials.
Process all types of orders (pallet, small package, etc.,.) efficiently and without error.
Use computers, RF scanners and power equipment as well as following distribution best practices regarding efficient workflow/processing.
Prepare shipping documents for all outgoing shipments ensuring all required inputs are entered into the Oracle Warehouse Management Software.
Understand and adhere to all applicable DOT, OSHA, EPA, EEO, ISO, and other PPG policies and regulations.
Participate in inventory, cycle counting, and audits as required. Ensure times replenishment and identification of potential material shortages.
Participate in safety meetings, safety observations, and all other required meetings.
Perform minor maintenance as required on warehouse equipment including the electric/manual pallet jack, forklift and other special equipment related to the distribution center.
Assists the Distribution Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in the performance of selected duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications
One to Two years warehouse/manufacturing experience.
Need to have basic reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills to process orders and complete paperwork.
Previous experience in paint and or/hazardous materials is a plus.
Good interpersonal skills, detail oriented, basic computer and organizational skills.
Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for extended period of time.
Previous fork-truck and hand-jack experience beneficial.
Ability to work holidays and overtime as needed.

Avery Dennison is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our Graphics Solutions Distribution Center in Mentor, Ohio. You will primarily support the facility with general logistics, finishing and shipping needs. Additionally, you will provide daily logistics support to the facility. Employee on this schedule will work an 8 hour shift Monday through Friday with hours to be determined, with opportunity for in-week and weekend overtime.
This role will be 2nd Shift, 1:00pm - 9:00pm.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Arrange for freight pick-ups and communicate freight status to appropriate contacts.
Work with transportation group and outside carriers to ensure on time delivery and meet customer expectations.
Ship and receive materials and equipment to support production and verify receipts in related computer systems
Accurately generate and file all shipping documentations including Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, Customer Sales Orders, Commercial invoices, Transfer Orders, Vendor Shipment Returns and Parcel Package Documents.
Process, close and file receivers.
Load and unload trucks to inventory and racking as applicable
Perform inventory audits to verify accuracy and achieve business goals.
Follow internal procedures for shipping all orders, stock and non-stock, ensuring to follow FIFO (First in First out)
Coordinate with Customer Service and Supply Chain for sales orders and receipts as necessary
Follow internal procedures for receiving orders into Oracle and ensuring the proper labeling of material.
Coordinate dock activities including but not limited to: Incoming materials, scrap and recycle programs, maintenance equipment, supplier material handling equipment, returns, small parcel delivery area, etc. as needed.
Inspect incoming raw materials for damage, verify quantity, and tag appropriately.
Maintain DOT/Hazmat and lift truck certifications
Support both shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Ideal candidates should possess experience that meets the requirements along with:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience
Tow motor certification required.
Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of basic PC programs (MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.).
Strong ability to work independently and autonomously.
Demonstrated customer responsiveness through effectively communicating with various functions (including Customer Service Representatives, Vendors, Carriers, internal finishing department, etc).
Experience with transactional functions in various computer systems (e.g. shipping / receiving functions) highly preferred.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or General education Degree (GED)
+ 6 months of manufacturing related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior assembly and/or disassembly experience; prior machine operating experience
+ Experience with manual or automated welding process
+ Experience using calipers, micrometers and other gages used to perform inspection.
+ Education or experience in programming and operations in programmable controllers.
+ PC experience in use of email, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Word.
+ Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and a cellular work environment.
+ Ability/prior experience reading and understanding routers and process instructions
+ Tube bending experience
+ CVP in Hydro and/or Boroscope
+ Knowledge of swage, shrink processes
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Excellent customer service to co-workers, customers, and vendors; works collaboratively and respects all others
+ Embraces ambiguity and engages others in idea generation
+ Actively participates and support a team environment
**Additional Information:**
+ Wages $22.50 per hour
+ Occasionally, the business requires mandatory overtime. Must be able to work overtime, when required
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand at least 6 to 8 hours a day.
+ Must be able to work with upper body extremities.
+ Must be able to walk, sit, or stoop on a regular basis.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds on occasion. Items more than 30 pounds will be lifted with assistance.
+ Required to pass certification standards test and eye examination
+ Willing to undergo on-the-job training in order to obtain CVP certification within first 6 months as an Associate CMO
+ Willing to participate in MRO drug free workplace program
