**The Job**
As the Lead, Supply Planning COE reporting to the Director, Supply Planning COE, you will help define, document, and implement Global Supply Planning processes and a future state planning tool within the Tools & Outdoor business unit. You will leverage your Supply and Material Planning and system implementation expertise to evaluate existing end-to-end Supply Planning processes by region, and design future-state ways of working. Your previous experience in complex process and planning tool implementations will help define the future of planning at Stanley Black & Decker.
+ Serve as a key member of the Supply Planning COE team, providing expertise in Supply and Material Planning
+ Collaborate with IT and Global/Regional business partners to ensure current state business continuity and future-state processes are supported by technology
+ Streamline and standardize existing Supply and Material Planning reporting and key routines across regions in partnership with the Supply Deploy COE, Analytics COE, and IT
+ Ongoing maintenance and refinement of Supply and Material Planning processes within the Global Planning Playbook
+ Analyze current-state processes by region to understand detailed differences in weekly planning process execution, systems, data, planning scope, and structure
+ Partner with COE Deploy teams to understand detailed Day-In-The-Life tactical processes opportunities and assess current process maturity
+ Develop and deliver process training strategies in collaboration with COE Deploy teams, ensuring effective regional implementation
+ Attend Regional Supply meetings to understand current process status and identify potential opportunity areas
+ Support the Supply Planning COE in PlanTogether system requirement validation and testing, and global implementation
+ Assist with Global Supply Planning improvement initiatives as needed
**Desired Skills:**

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $80,300 to $129,300 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. + Perform root cause analysis based on data to eliminate losses.
+ Data collection and analysis will play a big part of your job. Once losses are identified a countermeasure in the form of a kaizen will be implemented against the root cause issue.
+ You will manage the kaizen from start to finish through the various internal tollgates. Support operations in the form of coming up with creative solutions to immediate problems.
+ Lead/work in small cross functional teams.
+ Develop solutions and lead capital projects that support the long term manufacturing strategy of the Marion operation.
+ Specify, order and assure proper implementation of new process & equipment
+ Maintain quality standards within the department

The successful candidate will work within the Marion Materials department as the person responsible for a specific area of the plant. The successful candidate will interact with internal customers as well as outside vendors to support kaizen work. He or she will also create purchase orders for components and schedule/track/audit the work. Some weekend work may be necessary.
Your responsibilities will include
* Support production day to day to achieve plant metrics in safety, quality, cost, and delivery using various systems such as Leansuite, Lodestar and Gensuite
* Drive Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Engagement throughout the entire plant
* Develop creative solutions and possibly lead capital projects that support the long term strategy of the Marion operation.
* Focus on rack management and rack design with new product integration
* Understand and lead route maximization through data analysis
* Lead World Class Manufacturing (WCM) expansion activities through Logistics Customer Service (LCS) Pillar
* Lead continuous improvement activities utilizing the WCM methodology in support of plant metrics. The person in this role will support our WCM implementation with specific targets to meet.
* Perform root cause analysis based on data to eliminate losses.
* Data collection and analysis will play a big part of your job. Once losses are identified a countermeasure in the form of a kaizen will be implemented against the root cause issue.
* You will manage the kaizen from start to finish through the various internal tollgates. Support operations in the form of coming up with creative solutions to immediate problems.
* Lead/work in small cross functional teams.
* Develop solutions and lead capital projects that support the long term manufacturing strategy of the Marion operation.
* Specify, order and assure proper implementation of new process & equipment
* Maintain quality standards within the department
