Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Assistant Plumbing Superintendent to support the supervision of plumbing field operations in our North Texas market. This position works closely with the Plumbing Superintendent and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to H&G's standards of quality and craftsmanship.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced foreman or lead plumber who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership role within a respected mechanical contracting company.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Plumbing Superintendent with daily supervision of field crews and job site coordination
Help plan and schedule manpower, equipment, and materials for multiple ongoing projects
Support quality control efforts and ensure installations meet project specifications and company standards
Conduct and document safety meetings and enforce compliance with company safety policies
Review drawings and assist in identifying field conflicts or design issues
Communicate effectively with Project Managers, General Contractors, and crew members to maintain workflow and resolve issues
Provide mentorship and hands-on training to plumbing apprentices and field staff
Monitor project progress and assist in maintaining accurate reports and documentation
Qualifications
An active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License is required at a minimum
5+ years of experience in plumbing, with at least 1-2 years in a foreman, lead, or supervisory role
Comprehensive understanding of all plumbing systems from domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fuel gas, including best installation practices for commercial projects; knowledge of medical gas is a plus
Thorough understanding of the plumbing and fuel gas codes
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow into higher leadership responsibilities
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Key Responsibilities

Position Overview
H&G Systems is seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for licensed plumbers who take pride in their craft, value quality workmanship, and want to be part of a company known for its professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Journeyman Plumbers will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems across commercial and institutional job sites throughout the DFW area. Candidates can be based anywhere in the metroplex.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and local codes
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials required
Assemble, install, and test pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems
Work collaboratively with project teams to meet schedules and quality standards
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance requirements
Communicate effectively with superintendents, foremen, and other field personnel
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
Qualifications
Active Texas Journeyman Plumber License required
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing
Understanding of all plumbing systems from domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fuel gas, including best installation practices for commercial projects; knowledge of medical gas is a plus
Understanding of the plumbing and gas codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required
