Your Capabilities and Credentials * Educated knowledge and experience working with Esri ArcGIS software suite, primarily ArcPro and ArcGIS Online, as well as ArcGIS Experience Builder, ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS for Desktop. * Experience building and using a GIS to solve problems, present results, and graphically report analytical data for multi-disciplinary teams. * Technical training and experience in GIS mapping, geospatial analysis, and geographic principles (e.g., map projections and coordinate systems). * Demonstrates a knowledge of cartography and at least some understanding of graphic design. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Ability to meet project deadlines and understand how assigned tasks relate to project goals. * Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships. * Ability to perform work accurately in a detail-oriented environment. * Exceptional visual, written, and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. * Understands how to convert data from older sources such as maps and books into accurate digital formats. * Valid state driver's license Preferred * Knowledge of Arcade, Python, and other GIS Programming languages. * Working knowledge CAD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation platforms. * Experience performing environmental fieldwork using a GPS and post-processing data is beneficial but not required. * Experience working with LiDAR data. Education and Experience * Bachelors' degree or equivalent in GIS, Geography, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or related field with demonstrated GIS training or coursework. * Minimum of 1-3 years of experience providing professional (non-coursework) related GIS Services. * Prior experience in the delivery of GIS products and analytical solutions as they relate to Environmental Assessments, site assessments, and the Environmental Regulatory Process is an asset. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
