The Sr Regional IT Field Support Engineer is responsible for delivering hands-on and remote technical support to BJ's Wholesale Club locations within an assigned territory. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of in-store technology, including point of sale (POS) systems, fuel stations, hardware, End user computing (EUC), printers, mobile devices, wireless networks, and back-office applications critical to the club & fuel operations. The engineer will also maintain and oversee the sanitation of IT infrastructure in the store's computer rooms, MDF/IDF cabinets and demarc (demarcation point) in the club & fuel sites.
The engineer will report to the director managing the field support team. The engineer will work closely with Store & Fuel operations management, the corporate IT teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues, support deployments, and implement process improvements that enhance the member experience and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for hardware and software support issues within assigned clubs and fuel stations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving:
POS terminals, scanners, printers, and payment processing devices.
Fuel station terminals, controllers, and related systems.
Member-facing kiosks and self-checkout units.
Store and fuel stations network connectivity (wired and wireless).
Inventory management and back-office applications.
Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff or vendors as needed, while maintaining ownership until resolution.
Assist in the installation and configuration of new systems, hardware refreshes, and software upgrades in clubs and fuel stations.
Provide on-site support for new club and fuel stations scheduled for opening within the assigned territory.
Provide on-site support for club and fuel remodel initiatives that require the reconfigurations or movement of technology (e.g., movement or installation of low voltage wiring or the addition or removal of EUC, etc.)
Support the rollout of corporate initiatives, such as technology migrations, security enhancements, and application deployments.

Ensure adherence to BJ's security policies and PCI compliance standards.
Assist with audits, and inventory tracking of IT assets, and accurate record-keeping.
Partner with Club and Fuel Management and Corporate IT teams to identify technology needs and recommend solutions.

Responsible for driving account growth and profitability strategy, primarily by securing incremental and renewal contractual commitments from Economic Buying Influences (EBIs) and Technical Buying Influences (TBIs) across all categories of products, as well as driving sales at sites and with Power users Key Account Executives are also responsible for mapping an account growth strategy and are responsible for teaming with category experts where necessary to penetrate and grow accounts, as well as add value to our customers purchasing process.. This is a strategic selling position, expected to engage contacts remotely by phone, video, face to face, and utilizing digital tools.
What you'll be doing:
* Utilize prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities and drive efficiency, as well as to document customer engagement and information (ex: Prioritized Insights and SFDC).
* Lead Key Account selling team (i.e. category experts, site development, CSM, sales engineers, etc.) to execute account growth plan
* Collaborates with Revenue Management Team on specific opportunities to make discretionary pricing decisions based on knowledge of the account and assessment of future spend potential, as well as pass BPIs based on contract language.
* Exhibit high level of business acumen and sales methodologies to discover incremental opportunities and align with the customers vision and initiatives (ex: I&D, sustainability, HR), as well as understand competitive landscape
* Expertise of customer industry buying process' and ability to support product selection and standardization of SA.com products assortments
* Engage CSM to manage customer experience and complete customer maintenance requests
* Profitably grow book of business by hunting programmatic and transactional opportunities at the master account level across all categories. Also drive sales through program compliance at all account sites
* Establishes and maintains business management relationships with the senior executive team members within customer base

Qualifications:
What's needed- Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* 4-6 years successful sales experience
* 4-6 years experience in Office Supplies including facility and breakroom, technology products, business furniture, print and promotional products
* 3+ years experience in Microsoft Office and other basic software tools
* 4-6 years experience in consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills
