About the Role Culinary Khancepts is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Event Planner to oversee and execute events at locations across our portfolio. Locations would include the iconic River Oaks Theatre, The Audrey, Liberty Kitchen, Mayahuel and other brands under our portfolio. This individual will act as the driving force behind every aspect of the guest experience from initial planning and vendor coordination to flawless day-of execution. Much like a wedding planner ensures every detail of a special day comes together seamlessly, this role will manage all event logistics, communications, and on-site coordination to deliver memorable, elevated experiences that reflect the River Oaks Theatre brand. The role has the potential to grow into establishing our event program across our company. These include all holiday and themed events for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with clients, the Property General Manager, and the Artistic Director to conceptualize and plan private events, film premieres, receptions, and community gatherings.
Manage all pre-event logistics including proposals, contracts, timelines, layouts, menus, and vendor coordination.
Conduct pre-event walkthroughs with internal departments (culinary, beverage, AV, and operations teams) to ensure all details are aligned.
On-Site Event Management
Serve as the primary point of contact during events, overseeing setup, dcor, vendor arrival, and execution to ensure everything runs according to plan.
Anticipate and resolve any issues in real time to maintain an exceptional guest experience.
Manage event flow, including timing, transitions, and communication between teams.
Client Relations
Provide a white-glove planning experience with personalized attention to detail.
Maintain consistent communication with clients from booking through post-event follow-up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
Assist with event billing, expense tracking, and ensuring events stay within budget.
Maintain accurate documentation of event details, contracts, and post-event reports.
Creative Collaboration
Work with the Artistic Director to integrate creative concepts, film themes, or cultural programming into events.
Coordinate with marketing for promotional events, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in either corporate or wedding event planning, hospitality, or a related field
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Professional presence and exceptional client service skills.
Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.

SUMMARY: The Director of Loss Prevention Field Audit (DLPFA) is responsible for leading the loss prevention and operational compliance audit function across a national portfolio of bowling centers, family entertainment centers, and water parks. This role is focused on ensuring operational compliance, enforcing internal controls, and identifying opportunities to reduce loss and risk exposure. The Director will lead a team of field auditors and collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and HR to assess compliance with company policies and support a culture of accountability, safety, and integrity across all locations. Working with the Regional Director of Loss Prevention, the DLPFA will have dotted line supervisory responsibility to the Loss Prevention Managers, and Loss Prevention Business Analysts as necessary to perform the outlined job responsibilities. The DLPFA must have the ability to partner with District Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and department heads to accomplish the Loss Prevention Department's goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
* Lead the planning, development, and execution of field audit programs to assess operational compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
* Oversee a team of field auditors responsible for evaluating cash controls, inventory management, food & beverage operations, safety protocols, and guest service practices across 300+ locations.
* Conduct risk-based audits, identifying areas of non-compliance or vulnerability that could contribute to loss, or reputational risk.
* Assist with developing and implementing Loss Prevention programs that reduce internal/external theft and improve facility security.
* Develop and refine audit tools, scoring methodologies, and reporting systems to ensure consistent and objective evaluations.
* Collaborate with field Operations and site leaders to ensure audit findings are understood, corrective actions are implemented, and performance is improved.
* Work closely with Loss Prevention, Legal, and HR teams to support investigations and ensure proper documentation of audit-related violations.
* Analyze audit results and key performance indicators to identify trends, drive improvements, and inform broader LP strategies.
* Deliver regular audit summaries and risk reports to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
* Assist with training field and unit-level leaders on audit expectations, control procedures, and compliance best practices.
* Support special projects such as seasonal openings, high-risk location assessments, and enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.
* Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance Auditors, such Loss Prevention Business Analysts as may be assigned and has dotted line supervisory responsibility to LPMs and LPBAs as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in loss prevention, internal audit, or compliance roles, preferably in multi-site entertainment, retail, or hospitality environments.
* Strong knowledge of operational auditing practices, internal controls, and risk management in customer-facing businesses.
* Experience managing geographically distributed audit teams and conducting large-scale field assessments.
* Working knowledge of CCTV, security systems, report platforms (financial, exception-based, etc.), POS systems, and MS Office Suite a plus.
* Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.

Qualifications:

Comfortable preparing beverages, serving pastries, and handling to-go/online orders
Basic math skills; POS experience (Toast preferred)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains the highest safety standards and follows all protocols to keep our teams and guests healthy - is knowledgeable about all Alamo policies and procedures
Responsible for all content allocation and ensuring playlists meet the correct show flow
Tracks all special events needs that require coverage
Ensures picture and audio meet company presentation standards with daily checks
Reports any visual and/or audio issues to the Presentation department
Check Ticket Monitor to be sure that all shows are placed in an auditorium that meets the show's technical needs
Monitors the bookings and private event calendars for additions and cancellations
Keeps the projection booth clean, organized, and safe at all times ● Follows all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
Safely changes xenon lamps in 35mm and digital systems
Repair and maintain various cinema AV equipment
Any other tasks assigned by the Technical Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Maintains a working knowledge of digital projection systems
Performs preventative maintenance
Digital cinema file type and distribution knowledge
Basic IT technical skills and troubleshooting
Experience with audio-visual systems including mixers and PA systems
Basic knowledge of cable types for both video and audio devices
Comprehensive knowledge of 35mm projection systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail Basic knowledge of cinema audio systems
Experience with organization suites, like Google Docs and Airtable
Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Willingness to work unusual work hours (lots of evenings and weekends)
Some travel may be required
Willingness to work at multiple venues in some markets
