Responsibilities Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu edits Presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing guests about food preparation details Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses Properly open and pour wine at the tableside Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed Assisting with special events as needed Greet all guests in a hospitable and warm manner Understand and communicate all products and services available Must have some familiarity with basic food knowledge Commit to delivering high levels of customer service Practice appropriate/required safety and sanitation procedures at all times Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.
