Established in 1985, Star Micronics EMEA, based in High Wycombe in the UK, is responsible for the sales and marketing of Star Point of Sale Printers and accessories across Europe, Africa, India and the Middle East.
In 1989, Star Micronics Manufacturing Dalian Co., Ltd., manufacturing subsidiary of local corporation has been established in Dalian, China.
In 2003 more than 1700 star* CNC automatic lathes are sold.
LAGRO is renamed Star Micronics GmbH on 1st July, 2004.
In September at the EMO 2007 trade fair in Hannover the new star* CNC automatic lathe ECAS-20T is exhibited.
Since opening at the end of 2013, over 5,000 children have visited the Centre.
