* Prepares, updates and corrects daily broadcast logs detailing all aspects of operations including all program information, station identification, general support announcements, public service announcements, program promotion, and other information required by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations.
* Schedules recording of programs from satellite receivers for later broadcast and programs for instructional broadcast operations; ensures all material scheduled for broadcast has been received; approves and schedules dubs of programs.
* Maintains the accuracy and integrity of broadcast channels by ensuring that the programs and station break material are obtained, recorded, scheduled, and available for broadcast on all KVCR digital channels.
* Maintains the accuracy and reliability of ProTrack records for program material scheduled to broadcast and/or record material that has been recorded and program material that has been broadcast.
* Organizes and maintains program library.
* Enters data into the traffic scheduling system of all program and interstitial materials including promos, underwriter credits, IDs, and special event spots.
* Collaborates with other staff to write and edit copy to promote station, programs, or public service announcements; works with staff to establish promotion priorities and broadcast plans.
* Provides feedback in production and editing of local TV programs as needed including on-air spots, station breaks, and programming.
* Serves as System Administrator for ProTrack program and operations; coordinates maintenance, upgrades and user access.
* Provides input and makes recommendations during budget development process.
* Assists in the maintenance of content library; maintains records of recorded national or regional programs.
* Prepares and maintains a variety of reports, records and logs, including broadcast affidavits; ensures logs are kept in accordance with FCC rules and regulations.

Representative Duties:
* Perform additional working hours, which may include the breaks (spring, summer and winter), weekends, and evenings.
* Take and pass the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) exam.
* Help the head coach organize and execute an aggressive scouting and recruiting program of local and regional high school student athletes and out-of-state student athletes; actively participate and support high school visitations; establish individual contacts with athletes and parent/ guardians; follow-up correspondence/emails; lead campus tours for prospective student athletes.
* Scout opponent teams.
* Assist current and prospective student athletes to the appropriate resource to ensure their success (i.e. admissions office, financial aid office, tutoring centers, athletic counselor).
* Assist in monitoring that student-athletes get grade checks completed by professors and turned in to the coaches in a timely manner.
* Assist in maintaining accurate records of any required physical exam documentation and injury records for the student-athletes.
* Assist the Athletic Trainer in the monitoring player injuries and rehabilitation.
* Help resolve student-athlete issues including providing encouragement and support for student athletes
* Assist with sports clinics, camps, tournaments, races and/or charity games.
* Coach practices and both traditional and non-traditional games.
* Attend and participate in some local coaches' meetings, staff and conference meetings, state coaches' meetings, and coaching clinics; maintain membership and participate in meetings at the local and state coaches' associations.
* Provide the Sports Information Specialist the statistics for all tournaments and other off-site contests as needed.
* Give input on the performance of each referee after each game for the referee evaluation as needed.
* Provide the necessary documentation for the reimbursement of out- of- pocket expenses.
* Make recommendations for the order of uniforms and equipment each year.
Education:
Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience OR any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience.
A minimum of two years of experience coaching high school and/or college age men's cross country as part of a club or team.
