Job Description
Join Allstate's legal frontline and play a critical role in recovering losses and defending our insureds and the Company. As a Subrogation Attorney, you will handle auto and property subrogation matters from investigation through resolution, while also defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits. This role offers the opportunity to lead negotiations, litigate complex matters, and appear in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings. You'll collaborate closely with claims partners and legal colleagues, contribute to strategic decision-making, and drive meaningful financial and operational impact through effective subrogation recovery and litigation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of auto and property subrogation litigation from investigation through resolution, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiations, arbitrations, trials, and post-trial motions.
Investigate and pursue subrogation claims and litigation opportunities, including identifying liability, evaluating damages, and determining recovery strategies.
Contact and negotiate with thirdāparty carriers to resolve auto and property subrogation cases efficiently and effectively.
Review new file assignments, approve initial pleadings, propound discovery, and develop litigation and negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Maintain regular communication with insureds and internal clients, providing case updates, answering questions, and documenting communications at least every 90 days.
Coordinate closely with claims teams to discuss litigation plans, conduct strategy conferences, and ensure consistent updates throughout the life of each case.
Review and analyze documentary evidence, including claims files, medical records, expert materials, and liability documentation.
Prepare witnesses, including insureds, clients, and expert witnesses, for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Conduct depositions and prepare detailed summaries and evaluations to support case strategy and resolution decisions.
Prepare for and conduct court appearances, including case management conferences, hearings, status conferences, settlement proceedings, and dispositive motions.
Try and/or arbitrate cases, including preparing motions and drafting postātrial motions and briefs as needed.
Manage legal projects and caseloads effectively, ensuring collaboration and coordination across legal, claims, and support teams.
Education
Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
Minimum Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a highāvolume caseload efficiently.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative legal team environment.
Proficiency with legal research and case management tools, including Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and internetābased research platforms.
Effective communication skills, with experience working alongside attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, and claims professionals.

Responsibilities:
* Architect, design and implement Finance platforms and solutions which can support the needs of different finance and corporate initiatives.
* Collaborate closely with business and product partners in understanding business needs and designing solutions that address their priorities.
* Drive decision-making for buy vs build evaluation based on functional fit, technical feasibility, cost-benefit
* Evangelize and lead the Fintech solutioning in areas such as: Automated reporting and analytics, Treasury operations, Reserving, Revenue forecasting, Pricing, Regulatory compliance automation, substantiation, etc
* Abstract cross cutting concerns into common platform components that can be used for multiple current and future use cases.
* Lead team prioritization and sequencing of milestones to deliver incremental business value.
* Develop and champion best practices, including modular design, version control, automated testing, and security considerations, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.
* Partner with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to implement monitoring, alerting, and automation for platform reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency, contributing to a highly available and performant platform.
Skills:
* Deep functional understanding of one or more finance processes: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Reconciliation, FP&A, and Governance and compliance.
* Strong experience in one of the ERP finance platforms such Workday Financials, Oracle, SAP, etc
* Ability to translate finance requirements into scalable technology solutions using modern technology stacks such as Data Lake and Cloud Computing
* Operational Excellence: Solid understanding of SRE concepts such as SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and experience with tools for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Experience:
* 12+ years of professional experience in product/platform engineering designing and building Finance critical applications.
* 5+ years of experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
* Proven track record of successful partnership with product and business orgs to prioritize and deliver business value.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with Agile execution framework
* Prior experience implementing Workday Financials is a plus
Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Annual Salary
$125,000.00 - $300,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* 2+ years of relevant work experience
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness.
* Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $83,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Job Description
The Agency Business Consultant (ABC) position is designed for dedicated business coaches who can help Farmers agency owners drive growth in their business. Working for a district manager, these professionals typically conduct regular agency consultation visits where they assist agents in establishing business goals and developing strategies to execute on those goals. By providing ongoing coaching and support, Agency Business Consultants can help agents drive productivity and build bigger, faster and stronger Farmers agencies.
Responsibilities
Effective Agency Business Consultants work directly with new and full-time agents to provide guidance and assistance as agents develop their business plans. In addition, ABCs commonly provide personalized support to new Acquisition, Seed and Retail program agents, helping these capitalized agents to be successful from day 1!
Evaluates, coaches and supports the progress of full-time agencies; analyzes current state and provides recommendations for increased productivity and profitability
Assists individuals coming through new agent entry points, including assistance during the agents' deployment of new office locations with agency setup, business planning, and recommendations regarding effective marketing systems and training
Conducts Career agent performance reviews and helps agents build their strategies to achieve their goals
May conduct final interviews during the district manager's recruiting process, especially for highly capitalized agents
Provides additional information to agents about the policies, practices and procedures of the Companies
Qualifications
Requirements
Able to manage multiple objectives in a fast paced environment
Prioritize activities to help agency owners drive return for their agency and district growth
Strong time management skills that enhance productivity
Listen effectively to best understand agency goals and motivational factors
Previous business experience or business acumen to draw on during agency consultation visits
Use problem solving abilities to help business owners establish and execute their goals
Must pass a background check including (credit, criminal, regulatory and driving history)
Must be licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health or willing to obtain ASAP
Have the ability to be FINRA licensed and obtain 6, 63 & 26 licenses within time frame specified by District Manager)
