Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it's the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that's as effective as it is fun. Please be aware that smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Barry's studios and corporate offices. About the Role Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry's studios. As such, they are well-versed in all aspects of our business complying with company policies, procedures and directives. Client Specialists are key to developing lasting client relationships through providing superior hospitality and assisting clients with class selections, bookings, and questions; maintaining a clean studio; FuelBar orders; and merchandise purchases. This position encompasses the following responsibilities, each of which is carried out in equal measure: Front Desk, Facilities & Fuel Bar. What You'll Do Front Desk Responsibilities: * Client Experience: Understanding of hospitality principles & processes and ability to execute as part of the Barry's Client Experience * Support the client experience with hospitality and studio amenities to build personalized experiences with the goal of positively impacting both sales and service * Be an effective brand ambassador, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed, assisted accordingly, and have a memorable experience commensurate with the Barry's brand * Establishing and maintaining Interpersonal Relationships: The candidate must develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients/staff, and maintain them over time * Assist clients, building individual connections, and providing direction with any questions or concerns * Communicating with Supervisors, peers: the candidate must provide information to supervisors and co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, text, or in person in a timely and efficient manner * Deliver first class client experience at all times * Ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere at all times by assisting in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed * Guide clients with regards to the latest studio promotions, membership discounts and/or special events * Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations * Participate in all relevant training and development programs and meetings as directed by Operations leaders * Have flexibility with schedule, having the ability to work weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts and adhere to work schedule, and meeting minimum availability requirements Fuel Bar Responsibilities: * Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service in the Fuel Bar * Handle pre-orders and orders on the spot, custom to each client's needs * Assist clients with questions and product selection * Complete client's orders in a timely manner utilizing a POS transaction * Maintain fuel bar department areas clean and sanitized * Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations * Properly rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, paying special attention to spoiling goods according to company policy * Prepare various fuel bar goods following company recipes Facility Maintenance: * Prepare studio spaces before, after, and in-between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors * Support in cleaning and maintaining of locker rooms to brand standard as directed * Regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas, including the lobby space, FuelBar, Red Room/Lift/Ride spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas * Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate * Laundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towels * Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists Customer Service: * Ensure all existing and new clients are provided with the highest level of hospitality * Maintain client database and utilize information to increase client contact * Attend social functions within the community to generate new business, invite current and prospective clients to in-studio events, and reach out through curated clienteling tools Qualifications * Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry's Mission, Vision and Values. * Ability to work either a full-time or part-time schedule * Full-time employees: Must be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week with minimal restrictions. Must be available mornings, afternoons, evenings, inclusive of one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) during studio operating hours, aligned with business needs. * Part-time employees: Must be available for a minimum of 24 hours per week and minimum of 3-4 hours per available shift depending on state regulations.
