Remote Options: This position may be eligible for Remote Work two days a week.

Job Duties:
Attorneys in LES provide legal services to 30 professional licensing boards. This position will provide legalsecretarial support to those attorneys. The Legal Secretary I will interact with client agencies and courts in the acquisition of case file related materials and calendaring information. This position will entail proofreading and formatting of legal correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, briefs, legal opinions, and appellate briefs. This position will also involve exhibit preparation and the filing of legal documents in various judicial venues. This position will also provide backup assistance to other team members as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of legal formats and requirements for a wide variety of legal documents;
Knowledge of the rules and procedures for all state, appellate and federal courts;
Knowledge of the attorney/client relationship, including the need for confidentiality and discretion;
Knowledge of state and office policies and procedures;
Knowledge of software programs;
Knowledge to know what they do not know and ask questions.
Skill in typing, proofreading and word/data processing;
Skill in grammar, punctuation, spelling and editing;
Skill in composing correspondence;
Skill in effective oral and written communication;
Skill in the utilization or word processing programs for efficient and accurate formatting for final documentation production;

Job Summary:
The Arizona Attorney General's Office (“AGO”) is seeking Legal Secretary II to provide legalsecretarial support to the Assistant Attorney Generals. The position will prepare a variety of correspondence, pleadings, motions, legal forms and independently prepares correspondence.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, up to two days a week, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:
• Duties include, but may not be limited to, preparation of legal pleadings and documents necessary to process cases on behalf of the client; drafting and typing correspondence; answering inquiries from the client, court personnel, and others regarding case activity and status; coordinating and following up on service of process including communicating with the process servers and locate unit; entering all calendar events, deadlines, and case activities in case management database (ATLAS) to track progression of activities, reflect case status and generate follow through action; independently generating legal forms needed in all types of actions and other projects as assigned.
• Calendar court appearances, hearings, depositions, meetings and other functions; docket all case pleadings, correspondence, and suspense deadlines in legal files (case management system). Open, maintain and close files in accordance with office standards. Make travel arrangements and complete necessary documentation for in-state and out-of-state travel.
• Review incoming correspondence and pleadings and refer to appropriate attorney. Review outgoing material for consistency with office policy, grammatical construction, clerical error; ensure that legal documents and enclosures are complete and in order.

Job Summary
The Fiscal Technician Senior, located within the Controller's office, performs a variety of financial accounting transaction responsibilities. This role is primarily responsible for reviewing and balancing cash summaries for all campuses within the Maricopa Community College District. This role is also responsible for recording, verifying, and monitoring general ledger accounts, processing credit card refunds, and providing oversight of all miscellaneous check deposits at the District Office.
The Fiscal Technician Senior position collaborates with a variety of students, the campus Student Business Services, and MCCCD staff throughout the district on an ongoing basis, as it relates to questions on various Treasury-related matters.
Essential Functions
50% - Process Campus Cash Summaries:
* Log, review, and balance cash summaries
* Run SIS, FMS, and bank reports for balancing
* Record GL transactions in FMS
* Correspond with campuses to resolve discrepancies
30% - Collaborate with Campuses:
* Ensure all cash summaries are reviewed, approved, and submitted on time
* Provide oversight of campus petty cash logs and monitor balances per MCCCD policy
10% - Treasury-Related Items:
* Process credit card refunds, deposit corrections, and NSF check returns
* Record related GL entries in FMS
* Use bank reports and notifications for month-end reconciliation

Minimum Qualifications
