Job Overview The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Associate Director's Office, Office of Energy, is seeking to hire an Executive I to serve as Energy Project Coordinator for designated energy programs. This position will support the planning, development, and implementation of energy initiatives, projects, and policies in coordination with the Office of Energy Manager and Associate Director. Ideal candidates will have experience setting priorities and providing strategic recommendations for program advancement in emission reductions, renewable energy, energy planning, energy efficiency, and/or energy assurance. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with energy stakeholders, including advocacy groups, utilities, renewable energy providers, community organizations, environmental groups, regulated entities, and elected officials to advance program objectives.
