Position Overview The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Social Worker I for the Chester Mental Health Center located in Chester, Illinois to perform social work activities in the evaluation and intensive treatment of patients in a maximum-security psychiatric facility on an assigned shift, on an assigned unit. Duties Case Management Completes all mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries for all clients as required by each contract. Person Centered Treatment staff are committed to person-centered recovery. They will educate and assist clients in identifying their strengths and enhancing resilience, along with promoting personal choice and self-help measures. Treatment staff will work to help clients feel empowered to have their own voice and advocate for themselves.
