Prepare, serve and store food in accordance with local and state food safety and sanitation rules.
Order food and non-food related supplies weekly, bi-weekly or an as needed.
Operates standard commercial kitchen equipment and utensils to prepare meals. Checks all equipment on a weekly basis and reports needed repairs to supervisor.
Assures that dishes are washed and sanitized after each meal. Cleans utensils and appliances after each meal.
Responsible for use of kitchen area and assures staff and other adults use the area appropriately for program activities only.
