The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.

As a Loop Station Attendant, you will ensure our guests have a safe, fun, and memorable experience. Successful candidates for this role have excellent communication skills and are able to move quickly through a variety of changing support functions.

ResponsibilitiesGuide passengers into vehicles and usher foot traffic. Perform regular safety and security checks. Coordinate emergency response actions in the event of an emergency.Provide excellent customer experience to guests.

Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Ability to pass the Department of Transportation mandated Drug Screening Test.At least 18 years old

Preferred Skills & ExperienceExcellent written and verbal communication abilities. Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker.

Additional RequirementsPosition may require day, swing, and graveyard hours as well as weekend work.Must be able to work inside and outside.Must be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs or ramps.Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds. Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds.Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

**The Opportunity**

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a Prep Cook to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepares food to specifications before and during unit operations.

+ Properly measures, portions, and prepares all food items. Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.

+ Retrieves from storage areas all items necessary for preparation.

+ Maintains food, utensils and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

+ Labels, dates and wraps food product, adhering to ServSafe procedures.

+ Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according proper guidelines.

+ Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.

+ Follows all safety, security and kitchen procedures.

+ Communicates with chef for any special instructions/training.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Prior food preparation experience preferred, but not required.

+ Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.

+ Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware).

+ Ability to follow instructions.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Frequent standing and/or walking for entire length of shift.

+ Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids.

+ Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.

+ Ability to lift

Summary

The Station Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast food establishmentwhich may include cleaning the food or stock areas, assisting in the kitchen area, and maintaininginventory; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned bymanagement. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to the Store Manager.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and stocks customer eating area(s)
• Greets all customers with a smile and friendly greeting and follows all HMSHost customer servicepolicies and procedures
• Maintains a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
• Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed
• Receive, inventory, move and lift food and beverage products and supplies
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic andoutgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence andpolicy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
