Ensures that design work is coordinated with project staff and other engineering disciplines by maintaining clear and frequent communication. Advises upper management regarding any problem areas, staffing requirements, delays in production, scope changes, or other events which could affect project completion and/or profitability. Initiates and reviews change order requests for additions, deletions, or changes to the original scope of work. Keeps abreast of current trends and technologies. Ensures that adequate checking is performed in accordance with department standards and procedures policy. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate and requested. Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 4-year degree in Architecture and 10-15 years of related work experience in the "Hospitality/Gaming Industry" is preferable. Able to self start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation. Able to make decisions on available information and take action.
