AAA FACILITY SERVICES station supervisor job description

This position provides field management support to our Independent Contractors to Emergency Road Service (ERS) department. Through the employment of relationship building techniques, effective communication, coaching tutoring and mentoring of business practices. A successful Contract Station Relations Supervisor ensures a stable delivery of providing “Totally Satisfied” roadside assistance to AAA members and customers.

Coordinate and provide guidance and motivation to service providers on matters relating to the attainment of performance thresholds, business practices, driver training and conduct, and all other operational issues that may arise.

Supervise activities of independent contract stations within assigned field office territory through regular and frequent station visitations.

Inspect and evaluate station locations, verifying that facilities, equipment, and drivers' appearance comply with Club policies.
Investigate, document, and resolve member and customer service issues as required. Ensure consistent availability of station coverage via ongoing assessment of coverage needs, review of new station. Prepare proposals recommending expansion or reduction of station call volumes as needed. Network with Receiving and Dispatch management and staff on matters relating to dispatch procedures and resolution of member and provider concerns. Must be comfortable commuting - 80% of travel within own region and 20% out of state.
Qualifications:
4-yr. College Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 3-5 years demonstrated ERS, CSR, or related sales management experience required. Experience managing large external vendor relationships, including management of work teams, desired. Demonstrated knowledge of the towing industry and mechanical aptitude preferred. Prior experience developing recommendations and proposals, as well as successful negotiations and complaint resolution required. Professional verbal and written communication skills required, including excellent presentation skills. Prior experience in the preparation and analyses of financial reports, development of cost-benefit models and understanding of financial spreadsheets and profit and loss statements required. General management, organizational and time management skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and Visio required. Valid Driver License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance required.

Supervise, administrate and direct assigned station and station personnel in accordance with company policy and procedures as directed by corporate management and published company manuals and documents.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Shall include, but not be limited to the following:

* Manage, supervise and assess all personnel assigned by the Manager of Outbased Maintenance to assure the continued airworthiness of Company aircraft in accordance with FARs, Company manuals and documents while remaining responsible to budget through coordination of aircraft and personnel scheduling.
* Closely monitor that all required maintenance procedures, parts research/procurement, documentation/re-certification of performed maintenance and inspections are and is being accomplished by self and subordinates utilizing all applicable company manuals, directives and forms within the limitation of the FAA certificate and company qualifications held.
* Assure that communication from assigned station is continually maintained with management and maintenance control as required an all aircraft and station related issues by all means of communication necessary to include but not limited to verbal, email, company reports and forms.
* Act as company liaison at assigned station with, but not limited to, FAA, Flight crews, Customer, Office/Property leaser and Vendors.
* Assure that the assigned station has adequate personnel, facilities, inventory, tooling, technical literature, training and support equipment necessary to support the aircraft and station. Provide all necessary feedback to management of deficient areas and assist with all recommendations and directives to implement corrections.
* Perform and or oversee the delegated accomplishment and proper reporting of all required station self audits to include but not limited to aircraft maintenance, aircraft records, company manuals, housekeeping, support equipment, company inventories, office, warehouse, workstations and ramp space.
* Remain current and responsible to all revisions and changes to company policies, procedures and programs as applicable to position.
* Document all On the Job Training (OJT) and attend all company training classes as assigned by the department manager. Provide training to station personnel in areas of qualifications and knowledge.
* Perform all additional tasks assigned or delegated by higher management.

REQUIREMENTS

* High school diploma required. Associates degree desired.
* Company type aircraft FAM school desired.
* A&P License.
* Valid passport.
* Two (2) - five (5) years Heavy transport category aircraft experience.
* One (1) year supervisory experience desired.
* Must complete a DOT/FAA drug screen and at DOT/FAA compliant background check
