What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas and diesel vehicles & equipment
Perform inspections & preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety
Replace or repair defective components for optimal performance
Diagnose issues & complete repairs in the field during emergency service calls
Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure compliance with safety standards & legal requirements
Work varying hours, including weekends, holidays & on-call shifts
Adhere to company policies & maintain high attendance standards
What You Bring:
Extensive knowledge of Diesel engines & Heavy Equipment
Extensive knowledge of vehicle & equipment repair techniques
Experience with gas & diesel engines, brakes, hydraulics, and transmissions
Ability to diagnose mechanical & electrical issues using diagnostic tools
Proficiency in welding (acetylene & electric arc) and metal fabrication
Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work independently
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all weather conditions
Valid CDL (preferred) & ability to pass a drug screen
Must have own tools & be insurable under company policy

Duties
Changing semi-tractor and trailer tires
Replacing hoses and airlines
Servicing brake chambers
Locating and repairing air leaks
Fuel delivery

Successful candidates will be able to submit accurate paperwork, daily reports and /or other necessary documentation related to repairs made, be well-groomed, wearing company provided uniforms and other hi-visible clothing
Requirements
Must be able to work safely and efficiently
Must be dependable and have good attendance
Mechanical experience, preferably with diesel engines and large vehicles
Must be able to demonstrate dependability, follow instructions, commit to extended work hours when necessary, read and understand manufacturer's service specifications and lift up to 75 pounds.
Service vehicles must be kept clean inside and out; tools and equipment are to be stored in the designated locations and kept in working condition.
Current DOT Physical, or the ability to pass it
Pass Drug screen according to DOT requirements
Must be able to pass criminal background check
Good driving record and able to be insured with the company's Insurance carrier
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work as part of a team

This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.

Requirements

* Three (3) years maintenance experience to include repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment. Strong HVAC experience is a plus.
* Ability to work independently.
* Accurately and promptly completes required paperwork.

* Stable work history
Working / Environmental Conditions:
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
* Repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
* Extensive daily travel to work site location.
* Exposure to hot grease from fryers.
* On-call weekend rotation (frequency varies with branch size).
* Occasional to frequent exertion in high temperature environment (over heated kitchens, rooftops, etc.).
