That is a tough one...
For anyone considering collaborating with Steel Advertising, I'd like to share my company's experience to encourage potential partners to be extremely cautious. My company was hired by Steel to repair a website they built for one of their clients. The website had some issues, which led to security vulnerabilities. Steel engaged our services, and after a month of hard work, we successfully resolved the problems. Steel expressed satisfaction with the results, and their client continues to use the site without any issues. Throughout the project, we maintained regular communication with Steel's Executive VP, providing daily reports and discussing the scope of work. Upon completion, we offered Steel a significant discount on our rates and the number of hours worked. The website has been in use and functioning well ever since, with no complaints from Steel or their client. When we sent the invoice for our services, Steel informed us that they would not be paying for 100 hours of our work, stating that the Executive VP who approved the additional hours was not authorized to do so. This came as a surprise, given that the approval was provided in writing. We had asked for purchase orders (POs) for the additional hours, but the Executive VP had informed us that she could not provide a PO and that her authorization would be sufficient. Our attempts to resolve this issue with Steel have been met with zero success. We have tried to offer payment options and have spent months trying to communicate with them, but our efforts have been ignored. Our experience with Steel continues to be challenging, and I advise potential partners to exercise extreme caution. Despite providing our services and a tremendous product, we have yet to receive full compensation to this day.
