This position falls under the Plant job family and includes responsibilities related to metals processing and distribution within the company. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for pulling, filling, cutting orders, and handling inventory and shipping tasks. The role requires basic equipment operation and practical knowledge of materials, facilities, and operations used in metals distribution. Tasks include reading job orders, verifying material, operating machines and equipment, and maintaining safety and order in the warehouse environment. PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of the Packaging Attendant (Wrapper, Palletizer, Robot) Technician position is to operate, adjust and clean the wrapper, palletizer equipment, and printing and labeling equipment. This position is also directly responsible for maintaining a supply of packaging materials. The target of this position is to provide correctly packaged material which is sealed, shrunk and palletized correctly in order to reduce waste and cost.
